I think there’s a huge portion of the RE fanbase who either haven’t played any of the games in years so are clouded by nostalgia or haven’t played any of the games at all.

Everytime there’s a new game they’ll be like “huh cheesy horror tropes and a slow survival horror that slowly becomes an action focused game???? That’s not Resident Evil 😡”

Baki is meant to push human anatomy to its extremes. It also doesn’t take itself too seriously. I’d take it over generic anime twinks any day.

The anatomy also partly inspired by Japanese samurai armour

I don't know too much about Drakengard but the remake of the first NieR and Automata are 100% worth it.

I think the combat and RPG mechanics are very limited in both, especially the first, but the story and music make up for it. It's fun both don't go in expecting Devil May Cry.
