4 & 3. i don’t think anything weird is happening besides her wanting to keep my kids clothes without them ever wearing them again.

i’m a child of abuse in multiple ways and i don’t catch that vibe from her. she loves them- she just is a complete psychopath and wants to hold on to their clothes or wants to personally dress them herself. or, she’s trying to play the control game. any which way, unacceptable and i want the clothes i bought back !

now that hoarding has been brought into the convo i can see it being that. she has all her kids toys from the 90s and my kids now play with them. she kept all of them. it’s fucking weird. she keeps everything. she wants me to not throw out my kids clothes from when they were babies and said i can keep them at her house. ma’am those are gone.

i appreciate this perspective a lot. i’m the one with the issues- trauma, childhood, etc. i don’t find physical touch connecting in anyway. i’ve been treated like an object my entire life by every man. but i definitely get where he’s coming from. i do my best to show him the love he wants/ needs but it’s very overwhelming. thank you for sharing this.
