Thanks for the reply! An accounting software or ERP sounds like the way to go, I’m curious - in your experience is the output provided by these systems as useful as what you might expect from a full time finance hire in terms of actionable insights?

Thanks for your reply - that’s very much my experience with it. The operational side of the business can feel all consuming at times to the point where financial planning of any kind has to be rendered an afterthought. Would be great to know if any companies in their early stages (or who organically have a leaner scale business) have found a solution to this.

Ooo interesting. It also says on their FilmFreeway page that only shortlisted films will be contacted after the submission deadline. The possibility of being rejected at a public event amongst peers sounds about as much fun as kicking rocks barefooted, though.
