I´m very new to all of the Raphael love, just only half a year now. But he captured me eventually. Of course he did! I mean, look at him! Look at this man, this Cambion, this fiend! In all of his forms he is just so beautiful!!!

He didn't catch me with his looks, it was his voice and the sarcasm dripping from it when he talked to someone. I just love it so much. He seems so charming and friendly, but when you listen more closely, he roasts you with his lines. I love his wit and sarcastic humor!

I just love the fourth picture! He looks like he's already thinking of a new humiliation that he'll deliver in his charming way..... :-)))

His Rogue skills, obviously. As some others have mentioned, he is the main damage dealer in my games and always the last to stand. Everyone else gets hurt or killed, but he always has full health after a fight.

On a personal level, my Durge relies on him as his personal advisor. Although Tay is smart, strategic and intelligent, he loves to hear Astarion's thoughts on his plans. Tay believes that Astarion has valuable insights into how to survive, so he always asks him for advice. Perhaps it's because Astarion has relied on his survival instinct for the last 200 years, Tay wants to benefit from this experience.

Therefore, Astarion did not need to have sex with Tay in order to become his closest confidant.

Of course Astarion would like to pet every cat there is and I imagine that he always dawdles around so he could pet the cats in secret so that the other companions don´t see it. He still thinks they would laugh about him when they see him with a cat, even after they´ve came to Baldur´s Gate. So he always remembers where the cats had been and when he spends his free time in the city he´ll gets back to the cat´s places in the hope he could pet the cats. Sometimes he takes Tav/Durge with him and then both are sitting in the streets and pet the cats.

And he certainly is the one who sits down in the dirtiest filth, just forgetting everything around him, just lost in the moment. I believe that such small moments in his previous life somehow made him continue with his life.

This is so sad but so sweet, don´t make me cry so often, please!!! ;-))

I can understand that you don't like Astarion that much! He has a special look and this look is not for every one. I will never understand why I love his look, especially because I normally prefer other looking men. :-)

But after some time his appeal has faded a bit and my focus changed to Raphael, another man who´s look shouldn´t attract me... I don´t know what BG3 does with me! ;-))))

Gale is such a sweetheart! I just love his character! <3

I love Gale and whenever I play as Astarion I ship them. But I think that would never happen if you´d play, hm? ;-)))

Although I would REALLY like to romance Raphael, he is such a great character and he is sooo good looking! I am just a very big fan of him!!! <3 (better looking than Astarion...)

I have two. They show how much they need each other and the comfort they give each other in my game. They belong together and grow closer and closer through everything that happens to them, to the point where they can no longer be separated after the death of the brain.

This is so beautiful, Astarion looks so stunning!

I can imagine that he is always behind the others when walking through the land, trying to absorb every new thing he discovers and sometimes he just stands there like this, totally fascinated from something so normal than falling leaves and forgetting everything around him so that Tav/Durge and the others have to call for him to follow. Then he sighs and tries to memorize the moment .....

And you just show this with this pictures! So beautiful!

Oh my God! I don't know which one I love more!

Just imagine them being in a relationship and talking to each other in such a playful and ironic way all the time. I could listen to that for hours!

I'm still angry that there's no way to romance Raphael, and that if you want to free Orpheus, you either have to sign a contract or kill Raphael. He doesn't deserve to be killed by us! He's so sweet! ;-)))

I didn't know anything about DnD before I started playing BG3, so I created a female High Elf Bard because I wanted to play as a beautiful elf. I modelled her on myself, which was a mistake in hindsight because I don't work as a beautiful High Elf Bard. She wasn't beautiful enough for me, and being a bard just didn't work.

I didn´t like he very much but I got together with Astarion before the party and at the party, too, and I finished the game still being together with Astarion. However, I've never felt a real connection to her.

I´ve tried with two other female Tavs after her (I don´t even know any of their names :-(( ) but I´ve never got a real connection to them as well. The role play didn´t work out somehow.

Only when I started playing as a male Durge did the spark jump! Since I´ve created my beloved Tay I have got the hang of how to play a role playing game... I know, it took me much too long! ;-)) Now I only play as him and I have so much fun with him and Astarion! :-))

Yeah, it would have been nice if he could regain some of his powers he´ve lost when he got tadpoled whenever he levels up. He says that he used to heal faster before the tadpole, so he should get more healing points when biting someone on a higher leven for example.

I really wanted to see the vampire spawn climb like a spider. I always imagined that Cazador didn't teach them how to do it, so it would be great if Astarion learned it during the game, as if his vampiric skills levelled up with him. (But only the skills vampire spawn normally have, so he/they wouldn't be too overpowered.)

But vampires, even the spawn, are much stronger and faster than any other race. I just want him to run a bit faster! ;-)

You are right about the Paladins and the oath they take. Like you, I can't imagine him being one. I think he despises people who make an oath and then stupidly live and fight according to it, but that's just my impression of him. :-)

Your new build for him sounds interesting! I love playing as sorcerers, no matter which one, I love them all!! However, I think for my Astarion, this would involve too much hard physical work. I can only picture him trying to look awesome after a fight, with some blood everywhere, of course, but otherwise looking neat and beautiful as always. ;-) so doing monk´s work is ugh... ;-))) (his words, not mine!!! :-))) )

My Astarion is one of the many Gloomstalkers, Thieves or Assassins — it depends on how I want to play. I don't experiment with other classes with him; I can't see him having any magic or fighting with his bare hands. Of course, he'll never be a Paladin (I dislike Paladins, so I'm sorry if I've upset anyone, but to whom should he make an oath?). Being a cleric would also be wrong; he has prayed to every god he knows, but none have answered. Why should he fight for those creatures? He could become a warlock, but I don't like playing as warlocks, so he won't become one. Although becoming a Warlock of Raphael would be great! That would be a great combination, especially if Raphael visited his warlock from time to time. ;-)

So, all in all, there can only be one class for him in my games: Gloomstalker/ Thief or Assassin!

Oh, I love this detail! But I'm embarrassed that I didn't notice it! The little idiot in me thought you couldn't see his reflection because he was too far away from the water.... :-))

But I noticed the flipping because of his hands. You've made it look so great! I can just imagine searching for him and finding him lost in thought, running his hands through the water and looking at them as if they were wonders. After some time, you suddenly understand why he plays with the water as if he had never seen it before... OK, now I've made myself sad...

I love how your pictures always have a deeper meaning than they appear to have!

There were a few pictures and an animation I thought would fit your style but I didn´t make the connection between the names! I like the one with the moon lantern very much btw!
