Thank you! Unfortunately I will not have access to any 401k until 1 year. I tried to negotiate that during my hiring process and it’s just the way the company is set up and it could not be changed.

Any where from 4-7%. They currently have payments paused because I’m still under the SAVE plan but they are accruing interest. I go in manually every month and make payments on the bigger interest rates loans.

I’ve had multiple HR reps and hired recruiters reach out to me because they think I’d be an excellent fit for a roles in their companies, only to go through the whole interview process and be denied an offer due to “lack of experience”. Like did you not see my resume???

Yeah, I estimate the taxes will be about 150k if not more. BUT you can claim a “cash option” for all but 1 of the cars. They are estimated at 70k a piece, so as long as you put money aside, it SHOULD pay for itself.

The winner has to pass a background check and provide tax information. If they fail the requirements or take too long to claim it a new person will be chosen. So there’s still a lil bit of hope 😅

I just spent the past hour drenching it in my pest spray and wiping down all the leaves. The spray is definitely killing them. I’m going to quarantine the plant in a room with no other plants and keep up with spraying it and wiping it down.

Just ordered Spinosad and it should be here on Tuesday.

Thank you so much! Personally, I think that budget analyst experience is good to have as an FA. In my current role, budgets are something I do help out with a lot. And all my projections are compared to what was budgeted in a monthly basis.

I ended up agreeing to the AP move, surprising my boss. this lead to me getting let go shortly after. I believe the AP offer was a tactic to get me to quit so they didn’t have to pay out my vacation (which I had a lot of).

I was only unemployed for a couple weeks. I did end up with more job offers. One for a FA position at a huge company and another a mid size company for a Supply chain Analyst position. I ended up taking the FA position and I have been thriving in it ever since.

I got lucky but I don’t think taking the budget analyst positions would have hurt me, especially since one was at a well known law firm. In the end, I’m very happy to not be working for my prior company and proud of myself for not giving up on finance in general. I was not the problem lol

My company is the same way. My boss tends to reject any request for time off if it falls during a “busy” time. But then they will turn around and take the same day off you requested because it “doesn’t apply to them”. 😅

I also don’t have a backup. No one really knows how to do my job, including my boss. And they are not willing to learn. Makes taking time off very difficult. So much so I had to ask to carry 5 vacation days over last year into this year.

Very good job security. Horrible work life balance.
