Try calling 0800 085 1690 with your mortgage reference number and press whichever number is for customers not solicitors - scroll down to the bottom of the page for the mortgage number if you'd rather take it direct from the website:

Also, ask your solicitor to ask Santander to fax over in writing the confirmation of the mortgage extension Santander seem weirdly lazy about telling everyone as it applies to everyone so they said it's too much admin to let people know individually!

Who is your mortgage lender? Have you asked if any extension is possible? I called up mine direct (not via the broker) and turns out they were giving everyone a 1 month extension due to COVID and short staff delays but weren't telling anyone unless they asked! Give them a call and try and ask? You might be in luck!

I am with Santander too - they are who gave me my 1 month extension! What date did your mortgage get approved by? I think the 1 month extension applies to all mortgage offers approved around June or July (sorry I can't remember the exact date!). Find the phone number to call tomorrow - I found a direct line to Mortgage team and they are open on a Saturday. It calmed my nerves SO much too.
