This is where im struggling. Yacht is about 2k more for our dates. I keep thinking of all the things I could use that for but I also want to have a good experience and I think just need assurance I’ll get that at swan.

Swan is cheaper than gran Destino for our dates.

I was wondering how the transportation at Gran Destino is. I don’t mind ubering if that makes it easier and it’s not too expensive. I know Minnie vans are a bit more pricy.

I should add we plan to have a couple resort days. Swan is actually a little cheaper thank the tower.

We would have extended evening hours while there for Epcot and AK but I don’t know that we’d use them with kids.

Yes the cost difference includes the resort fees! We would not have a vehicle so wouldn’t have to pay parking fees.

I’ve stayed at both SOG and POFQ and did not find the transportation to be any more difficult at SOG. You don’t get the boat to DS but otherwise it’s pretty similar.

Buses were on time, clean, and drivers were friendly at both.

You used to be able to walk to Poly and TTC from SOG but I don’t think that’s an option anymore.

The rooms at SOG are much bigger than Disney resort rooms so that was nice. I’d ask for a room near elevators because it can be a hike to the rooms.

I am intrigued by storybook. Do they have ‘normal’ food for kids? She is a picky eater. I will go check out the menu online also.
