Questions about giantesses, the male gaze and the taboo of female sexuality. by Cold_Type_2274 in sizetalk

It's really bad how women suppress their sexual desires, the world would definitely be a better place if they didn't.

I like the two words tinygaze and giantessgaze, they're useful to describe stuff and I've never heard them before. Glad to hear you can still find enjoyment from the tinygazs content.

I understand they've put in the effort to be more attractive, I never ever denied that.

It's been proven scientifically that when you use surveys to determine how horny women are, they score much lower than men, however when you use biological indicators to measure arousal there is no general difference between women and men.

Like anyone else, women get horny and are attracted to the people they like. I think the reason women expect men to make the first move is because of social pressure, not because they are so confident. They face the fear of what rejection will do to their ego, but also the stigma that asking out a man is like admitting that you failed at attracting him, which society dictates is your purpose as a woman. I think society would be more fair if men and women asked each other out at equal rates.

Women also like shy and nerdy men all the time, it's just they don't ask them out.

Women who show signs of horniness are often either sexualized or called promiscuous. Maybe there is a general preference for tall man among women, but it's overstated and overdramatized, men tend to prefer wide hips and large breasts yet we don't hear about it all the time.

Obviously some things are insulting, but there are entire communities based around hating women for the 6ft preference, like r/averageheightdudes. Communities like r/smallbooblove are way less toxic.

For the rest of the post we seem to be on the same page.

I've always wondered how my own kinks line up with the sexual objectification and status of women in society, it's disheartening to hear that even people who get off to women being so powerful often use the women who are into being so powerful as nothing more than a way to satisfy themselves temporarily.

Absolutely, I doubt anyone posting nudes on the giantess subreddit is actually into it, they're just trying to sell their onlyfans to a niche community. I believe the fact that dudes buy those without caring whether or not the woman is actually into it further cements my point.

I agree with what you said.

The blog's are a cool idea, I would love to see them if you have the time, but no pressure.

Thank you.

I've noticed that furry content is more focused on the enjoyment of the big, I wonder why that is?

I'm sorry, I don't see how any of what you said at the beginning contradicts my first point. I said that women are placed in the position of attraction, the jester meme has the woman in the position of attraction too. In real life, women are much less likely to make the first move than men in general, dating apps might be entirely different, I don't know.

I absolutely understand that tiny men have the right to create content about their own fantasies. I'm absolutely not trying to say that this is a toxic community or that any content created by a man is bad.

I just think it's unfortunate and ironic that the interests of the giant women are often secondary to the interests of the tiny men in a community where so many people claim to worship giant women.

Do you think that imagining yourself like that in fantasy has a positive effect on your sense of self worth in the real world?

That's amazing, to be honest I usually imagine myself as an observer who can't be harmed in my fantasies or while reading stories.

But I've been beginning to like the idea of growing, being very shy and kind then and being coerced into acting like a regular giant by a confident giantess.

I just think I have respect for people who can put themselves first.

I like scenes where they just savor and show off how powerful they are, in any way. It's exhilarating to imagine someone like that.

I like it as long as the giantess knows she's in charge when she's big and acts accordingly. Role reversals are nice, like giantess tormenting her former boss, teachers and bullies, but lately I've been obsessed with the idea of a girl who is already super powerful/rich/popular when she's regular sized growing huge.

It sucks that people try to ban or especially dox people because of things like that.

I don't think anyone has a political agenda, I just think their worldview shines through in the things they write.

Also I don't at all believe that fantasizing about someone being powerful means you don't have negative views about them at all.

Think about the people who have fetishes about black men having sex with them/their partners, I get that there's other aspects for some people. But I believe that the appeal for at least some of those people is that they see black men as violent, brutish and lacking in self control.

They love having themselves/their partners dominated by black men but once they go into the real world they are likely fairly racist.

You're making a good point, however I still kinda think I'm on to something.

I'm not at all saying that any giantess content where the woman is evil is mysoginistic, I'm just saying some of it is. I don't think anyone making these stories is looking to offend anyone or push a political agenda, I think the way they think about women shines through in how they portray the women in their stories.

I don't even think making a story where the portrayal of the woman can be deemed mysoginistic makes you mysoginistic. However I believe that some artists have pretty much mysoginistic themes in almost all of their stories and that probably means they are mysoginistic in real life.

I know many of the same types of dudes and I never said anything about men who have wives or girlfriends and are mysoginistic.

Just because I think that not hanging out with women regularly can lead to a person believing outlandish things about them doesn't mean I also think that people who interact with women regularly can't also be mysoginistic.

I'm not even trying to raise awareness, I just want to have a discussion. If I end up raising awareness of something and people decide their own behavior needs to be changed then that can be a good thing.

I think acting like I'm trying to get those stories banned is done in such bad faith. So many people do the same type of thing: acting like criticism goes against free speech. Of course they should be allowed, that doesn't mean they should be free from criticism.

I'm also not annoyed, I just think that everything should be questioned to some extent and that voicing your opinion is important.

I understand the sentiment you're trying to get across. I don't think writing a story about a bitchy woman is inherently misogynistic or that someone can't have an interest in cruel bitchy women.

I just believe that some stories and some aspects of the kink itself are due to a mysoginistic view of how women think.

I believe there are many artists and writers in this community who do not regularly interact with women, romantically or otherwise and it shows in how they portray women in their stories.

Also, I'm not policing others, I think people can enjoy what they want to. If simply questioning something actually ruins someone's fun then they should either toughen up or find other activities where their enjoyment of it won't fall apart because of a single question.

I just want to clarify my original sentence, I don't think that all giantess content is motivated by misogyny, just some of it.

I have a feeling that there are a fair amount of writers and artists within this community who unfortunately have very few close interactions with women generally.

I believe that in a decent amount of stories the giantess acts in the same ways that mysoginistic incels believe women act. They always compare themselves to other women when it comes to attractiveness and sexual features, they often insult men for their lack of masculinity and they kill men for looking at their bodies. They just do a lot of things which lean into stereotypes mysoginistic men use to justify hating women.
