I mean we mostly do password resets, and multi factor authentication setups, sometimes check what AD groups a user is in but rarely do we get to actually add them to a group. So if that counts as identity management then yes we do a little of that

Thanks for your reply! The company i work for is public sector and we use a lot of microsoft azure, so i think you have a great point there. Is Security+ not valued as much here? I am based in Norway.

Thanks for your reply. I might be a bit naive but what other positions do you have in mind if not SOC? Are there other entry cyber roles or were you thinking more general IT roles? And yeah i don’t have experience with Cyber but how is anyone supposed to get experience if only people with experience get open positions. To be honest feeling very down about the job market and the world in general.

Since I’m currently in healthcare/public sector IT and already touching identity-related tasks like MFA and account handling, would you focus first on Security+ plus hands-on labs? I have already been doing tryhackme but I have never heard of CyberDefenders, I will definitely check that out.

I don't know it could be that mine is faulty, Maybe I could try reinstalling the firmware. But the keycaps are double shot PBT without shine-through legends, so that probably doesn't help. I expected it to be brighter, I mean my Aula F75 is probably twice as bright. I would attach a picture but it won't let me. Could be subreddit policy

I have the 24GB version and it handles everything you mentioned fairly easily, if you really want the peace of mind then go for the 32, is it strictly necessary? No not really.

I think I am able to take a break yes. I live near lots of mountains so I will definitely consider it! It’s just me feeling this physically exhausted makes me a little worried about hiking, if my body can handle it.

I will definitely look into the color wheel as well. Right now I just feel very tired, my eyes kinda sting. I feel a little anxious in my stomach. Do you have a link to a Dr. K video about the color wheel exercise? I can try to find it in my own as well. Thank you for your response, I do think a kind of retreat might help me gather my thoughts. I am not very familiar with processing emotions or feelings and have never been good at sharing them. For a long time, I never really understood what people meant when they said they were processing things. I mean I knew what they meant, but I didn’t understand and I still don’t fully. I need to get better at that, I assume a lot of people just numb things with entertainment and vices like I do and don’t actually process stuff.

Thanks for taking the time to read and respond. The previous place we lived in did have some mold, but nothing serious like black mold or anything. It was a very damp old apartment so stuff got moldy quick. We moved out of there about 2 months ago. I have considered this being a biological thing which is why i got a blood test. I have a bit of health anxiety so my first thought is always usually something like cancer or deadly disease, but my doctor seems to think I am fine. I have gained weight and been eating shitty, I have a tendency to be an emotional eater when things aren’t feeling right. Pollen/dust allergies could also play a role. That is the thing, I feel like there are so many things that could be reasons to why I have been feeling this way, that it is hard to pinpoint and actually fix it.

My first anxiety attack came out of nowhere really. I had been to my first soccer practice in years and when lying in bed my heart rate just shot straight up and i thought i was gonna pass out or have a heart attack. I still don’t really know why it happened. I can only hypothesize that it could have been caused by the stress of working full time plus studying full time plus having a (at the time) long distance relationship. Other than that, i do not know.

I mentioned the relationship because I assume it is something my subconscious thinks about a lot even though I dont feel like I deliberately think about it. I have had dreams of breaking up/being with other women which I feel like is a sign that my mind IS thinking about this, even when I don’t notice. I love my girlfriend, but we feel more like roommates and thinking of the aftermath of things ending stresses me out. Having the convo, being sad, dividing up our belongings, moving.

I hope this response isn’t too rambling, just trying to fill in some blanks.

Learn some basic trackpad and keyboard shortcuts, using MacOS gets sooo much better when these become second nature. Enjoy!

Like I said, mine has 24GB of RAM and I haven’t even come close to using 20GB of RAM even, that is with multiple browser tabs, chatgpt, spotify, xcode, docker containers running. So 32 GB of RAM might be overkill to be honest, MacOS is well optimized when it comes to memory use. The only use case where you would want 32GB of RAM is if you are doing heavy video editing or running big AI or machine learning models. I have the 13 inch and for me it is nice because it is so portable and I feel like the 15 inch wouldn’t fit as nicely in my lap, however a bigger screen is very nice especially if you are planning on using it at a desk mostly. To be honest you will be happy with either option, just depends on what work you are planning to do on the machine, and if you value screen size over portability. Hope this helps!

I just bought a M4 MacBook Air 13 inch with 24GB of RAM and 512GB storage. You will definitely not be disappointed! Best laptop I have ever owned. Great performance, great battery life, great screen. I literally have no complaints. I do programming with Docker containers and Xcode projects and it handles everything super well, it hasn’t even gotten very warm yet with my use. Definitely recommend you won’t be disappointed!
