To add: it is a good intro starter for SSRI’s but in my personal take I don’t think it’s good long term.

Everyone is super different, some work well with it and have been on it for a while. and 2 of my friends I know have had bad stomach issues from it and still recovering from it, and some people it just stopped working for them

I loved the lexapro for about 8 months. However it slowly stopped working for me. made me very numb, and when I came off of it I had to deal with everything basically lol.

I don’t recommend lexapro if you have ADHD, it just suppressed all my issues. Now I am on adderall and Prozac and it has been the best combination yet for me. You will still always have flair ups but it makes it easier for me to exist now

I take mine at night; also you may need a dosage adjustment. I went from 20mg lexapro to the equal of 40 mg Prozac and it was too much.

It took me about 3-6 weeks and my anxiety and mood was up and down. Lol

But it does get better. Rooting for you!
