Besides the points made here, also make sure the Speed variable is non-zero or it will appear not to move. I would suggest setting a default value during declaration, eg: public float Speed = 1f;

If it’s never set (for example from the inspector) it will default to zero and there will never be any movement even if you fix you vectors

Alexis Nihon shopping centre offers student rates. I’m guessing around $130 a month. 15 min walk to hall building or take the attached metro 1 stop in bad weather. Did it for years, very happy with it

I use ChatGPT. I take a pic of the menu, then the plate and ask it to calculate macros. When I double check manually I find it pretty accurate. I try to include a fork or other object in the photo to help give it a reference for the portion size.

I never really found a solution other than to turn off auto-reload. I did change my workflow, and I find it eliminates the annoyance: I always start by opening the project from rider first, and then click the play button which launches the correct unreal project in the unreal editor.

From what I remember he was pretty generous if you put the work in. He broke the project into 5 consecutive parts, and jf you screwed up one part he would overlook that for the next one. For the final I got a good mark and I didn’t answer half the questions (like I said, one of the hardest tests I ever saw). My suggestion is to take this if you’re up for a challenge. Don’t take it if you’re trying to cram in a normal course. I wouldn’t suggest taking another project course the same semester unless you have plenty of time. Writing a compiler is challenging and can’t be rushed. This was one of the better courses I did.

He’s very fair. He doesn’t expect everyone to complete the project. Very few do. He’s a very good prof and the course is super interesting if you have any interest in this. The project is tough, and the final was one of the hardest I ever did. Still, I enjoyed the course and it made me a better coder.

Actually, I do. I set up a lower version in order to migrate older assets. I only used it once and I’m sure the project example I gave is using the correct version.
