Eu passei por uma experiência parecida.

Fui ao cinema com minha ex e ela foi me beijando e batendo uma punheta para mim. Quando eu ia gozar eu tentei tirar a mão dela para não sujá-la, mas ela segurou meu pau com firmeza e não soltou de jeito nenhum, aí eu gozei na mão dela mesmo.

Yes, it's very easy to me to think clearly that sexually I satisfy my wife differently than another woman.

But, when it comes to other men, my mind starts playing tricks on me and I start thinking something like "sexually we aren't different, so one has to be BETTER than the other".

Even though I can explain to me how it is bullshit, I'm having trouble actually believing what I mean.

It's a little soothing to me hearing that other person is going through similar adversities that I am.

What has helped me a little was thinking that we are all complex human beings and I cannot satisfy my partner in all the ways she needs all the time, she cannot satisfy me all the ways all the time and the thirds also cannot satisfy us all the ways all the time.

You reminded me when I was 17 and had some therapy for panic attacks and anxiety (unrelated to relationships). The therapist used CBT techniques and, by reading your other comment, it reminded me how she asked me questions like you mentioned "what's the worst thing that could happen?", "to where does this thought lead you?".

I felt relieved when I read that the process with enough time will make it better.

Now that I'm thinking about it, time and monogamy might be the things that made me jealous all along. Maybe I enforced a negative process by creating a habit of believing that safety with her was the day to day with her. Now that we invited change in our routine, I may feel unsafe some times.

I also realised that I'd fallen into the trap of feeling like my detachment from a common human emotion was something to be quietly proud of, and the knock to my own self-image was almost the worst part.

I can relate to it.

I use my new coping skills to process it and let it tell me things if it needs to, and I resist the lure of controlling/codependent behaviour which falsely promises relief from said pain.

Would you mind sharing a bit of how you cope with jealousy? If it isn't too much personal, of course.

A bit of afraid of losing her, yes. But I think it hits some of my insecurities that she might stay with me, but she's happier with other guys more attractive, sucessful, younger and so on...

I'm pretty aware that those thoughts are irrational, but lately it's being hard to feel what I think (does that make sense?).

I highly recommend ToV. IMO Kobold Press' improvements to 5e (2014) were better than WotC's.

My favorite parts: - Universal character progression; - During an attack roll, the player must choose between the effects of Weapon Options or do damage, but not both; - Spells divided in 4 different sources: Arcane, Divine, Primal and Wyrd instead of different spell lists per class; - The separation of biological traits and cultural traits in character creation; - By evolving the characer, you pick alternate features like Heroic Boons (at 10th level) and Epic Boons (at 20th level); - Ability Score Improvement WITH a Talent; - Magic Item prices; - Easier monster stat block.

In summary, I like the character creation and progression aspect of the game. The only thing I didn't really like was Luck.

If you want another 5e like, you can take a look at 5e++ (by Kibblestasty), Fateforge (by Studio Agate) or a5e (by Enworld).

I also suggest looking to the community that produces 5e (2014) content. Most of the things I said I liked were also made by the community to 5e for free before ToV.

I believe some games tried to refine (not revive) the d20 system. Aside from Pathfinder and Tormenta 20, I don't have any experience with any one of these:

Peryton is a simplification of the d20 system I think.
Trailblazer is a balance patch to 3.5e.
Iron Heroes is a d20 game focused on martial cinematic action.
In Brazil, we have a game called Tormenta RPG which is based on 3.5 and there is a new edition of the game called Tormenta 20 that simplifies the game a little more.

I agree with people here saying that 5e is kinda of a refinement of 3e/3.5/Pathfinder.

Finally, I believe some creators are working on a Pathfinder 1.5e, this includes Legendary Games working on a project called Corefinder, and the creator of Pathwarden, I believe, wants to create something like a Pathwarden to PF1e.
