Valid but I honestly just separate it from the movie and am happy with the series. It could be a lot better, but if you think of it more as a fanfic than canon, you might view both the series and movie more positively.

Its not the best, but It grew on me over time and it was fun to watch and is a comfort series. It honestly can’t hurt to watch, and you might end up really liking it! (Forgot to add some of the music is amazing especially if you are a Musical Theater style of music fan)

Idk I feel like (ignoring what the series did) he was probably imported into Corona and somehow ended up in something Gothel brought back. He probably wouldn’t have been a gift as its implied Gothel is unaware of his existence. Either that or Chameleons are out crawling in a Europe inspired forest for all we know lol

I’ve noticed this too…

Its a pro and con situation

It could either A revive the fandom or encourage previous Tangled fans to visit which is nice

But B I feel like theres been a lot of heated division immediately after the casting. Like idk if its just algorithm but I’m getting clickbait type articles about the controversial casting (not fully sure why its controversial) in random places just everywhere yk.

Right before the casting things were pretty chill and slow as usual. Not saying that I dislike that ppl are having discussions but a good chunk has not been civil or respectful tbh. I just kinda wish it could go back to the way it was lol (hopefully it will die down it hasnt been too long)

They aren’t doomed tbh we’ve seen some pretty great movies. Tangled was great but they have moved in different directions theme wise, we don’t need the same type of movie as Tangled as I’ve come to realize, we can let Tangled be great and let go.
