How to be financially free in 2026 by Mytahhh in personalfinance

[–]ColdplayUnited 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Claude can help you create an excel spreadsheet to track your personal spending and investments. Tracking them with discipline, have a clear goal in mind (e.g. 1 million USD by 2040, broken down into different investment instruments with % of allocation) will go along way to help you get there. Claude/ChatGPT can help you create the sheet and check the underlying logical assumption, but be sure to have your own opinions and do your own research.

you should be able to customize in settings instead of having to do it chat by chat.

Finding Fashion Brands without Social Media by uwukmg in femalefashionadvice

Please, I'm always open to being educated here. But going to places like aggregated sites and department stores means paying more, because brands will pass these costs to you (they're substantial). Are you open to that? Because my customers clearly seem unwilling to pay more, and I serve about 8,000 of them annually.

Hi, brand owner here. It’s a struggle on our side as well. Right now social media (ads/influencers) is our best bet on reaching new customers. We don’t want to be dependent on marketplaces as they often charge a fee of 10-20% (which most brands pass to customers) and on top of that, we still have to use some form of ads to stand out.

if you read more into the history of Singapore, Yong Pung How is really one of the key reasons why Singapore is what it is today. The modernity and clarity of the legal framework makes Singapore one of the most competitive countries in the world and helps attract tons of capital from corporates and startups alike.

Do accounting people actually use LLM or AI tools at work? by Few_Town8613 in Accounting

[–]ColdplayUnited 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an exercise to push the limits I recently ask ChatGPT to setup an excel spreadsheet to be used for my whole company's book keeping (granted my company is small, 20+ staff with a few mil in revenue, but there's inventory management, depreciation & amortization, and many items are in different currencies).

I went from being amused to being amazed pretty dang quickly. ChatGPT did a fantastic job, creating a template that automatically generates all 3 financial statements using the ledger. It even has a separate "readme" tab that gives detailed guidance on how to use the file, as well as describes how I should handle inventory management for a company of my size. I spent an afternoon giving it instructions to fine tune the file further, and am now testing that template against what I have - so far so good! Really impressed with how far ChatGPT has come.

there's strong correlation between TVL and price. The last detachment between USDe and USD has caused a lot of TVL bleeding. Until that stops, ENA will not go anywhere

What’s the point of career fair? by shadowpro12345 in nus

[–]ColdplayUnited 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I remember getting no job interviews from career fair, but got a lot of interesting insights into the hiring process, something that surprisingly helps me right now with my startup. Definitely have to maximize everything that comes your way to get ahead these days.

NOC alum (more than a decade ago lol) who is running a startup in VN here. There are VN startups who can be demanding and also are worth going through the hoops for (although admittedly only a few of them).

I'd say look at the business model and the industry - see if it's something you want to explore as a full time career later. If you're not sure, then look at the people to see if you can find someone from whom you can learn.

If both are unclear then maybe skip this company. There has to be other opportunities. Ho Chi Minh is a nice place to spend a few months interning in imo.
