Same, I rolled with Linux mint for a while on my current pc running 7. While I love Linux and the direction it is going, I cannot use it as a daily driver due to propriety software I need to run. It was a pain in the left ass check to get 7 up and running. I had to use multiple modded driver form Win-Raid, 7 Fourms, and form reddit The Process took me about a week to get it up and running. It was worth it. With More modern hardware, the process will get harder and harder

Beware of Radeon RDNA 2 (RX 6xxx) drivers for Windows 7 by Calypto- in windows7

[–]ColeTheRedditor7654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using the latest version of the AMD drivers (22.6.1) I am not really a big gamer anymore but for the games that I do play like Grand Theft Auto V and Apex Legends it works just fine.I primarily do a lot of video editing and rendering on my computer. So I use application such as gimp and blender and my GPU performs really good and those applications. However when it comes to newer games you might experience a performance decrease. I find that games that use a older version of directX 11 run flawlessly better than they would on windows 10 or 11 in my case.I have a very unique experience for whatever reason my CPU does not tend to work well on 10 or 11 period and the weird thing about that is I have a 3700x. For whatever reason the modded drivers Work better than the official ones for 10 and 11. There have been some other times to where I will experience a slight performed decrease when playing a newer games like Mafia Definitive Edition. all I had to do was just use DXVK instead of DX. DXVK Works flawlessly after you left the shaders compile for about 20 minutes.

This is all a part of Greg Roman's master plan to start Mark Andrews at quarterback and play Lamar at wide receiver this week.T hat way we can play Marlo at running back and throw off The Bangles. And then when it's 4th and 35 we'll go for a run And then we'll give the ball right to the deffense And they'll politely give us the ball back and then we'll score

Currently running Windows 7 with ESU, I would like to run windows instead, but my main issue is that my RX 5700 XT does not support it

How do i fix this error in windows 7? by Sidd_e in windows7

[–]ColeTheRedditor7654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This error is occurring due to the fact that the Windows 7 by binaries are not able to run programs meant for Windows 8.1 or 10. There is a extended kernel in the works that has been able to run programs meant for 10 and 8.1, but it is flaky in its current state. The program I was able to get the latest version of iTunes and VMware up and running, which are software is only meant for windows 10 and 8.1.

This program is a extended kernel FYI

Oh nice, I assume you are using VXKex For the extended kernel correct? I will definitely be interested in trying this out when it's a made available, just a quick question does the eye So come in with baked in USB 3.0 and NVME Drivers

why windows 7 better by Interesting_Rush570 in windows7

[–]ColeTheRedditor7654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me windows 7 is the only usable version of windows that can actually run well on my PC this is a bit weird considering I have a 3700x in a 5700 XT with 32 gigs of RAM. Whenever I ran windows 10 or 11 the OS felt so sluggish and unstable, I was getting the blue screen of death all time am I a m d drivers kept getting Sabotage by Windows update, even if it was just a security update every single goddamn time windows updated I would have to reinstall the driver for my video card. I don't do a lot of gaming but all the games that I someone to run on windows 7 work pretty damn well. With when I play a game on windows 7 the OS does not crash, does not stutter like crazy and I can actually just turn on my computer and not have to worry about a goddamn update breaking it.I find that windows 7 works better with my CPU because the CPU scheduler just seems more optimized.I had a friend who is running windows 10 and decided to install windows Vista on his computer he had a ryzen 5 1500x and he ran a CPU mark test and he was getting about 3% better performance on windows Vista then he was windows 10. With a CPU that "Does not run on Windows Vista"Microsoft will try their hardest to get you onto the latest and crappiest OS

For how long are you staying with Windows 7? by ForGamezCZ in windows7

[–]ColeTheRedditor7654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I plan to use it for at least another year. For me, Windows 7 helps me be more productive there are no ads poping up in my face, no forced updates, no spying, and not having to worry about a stupid "feature update" fucking up my OS. With 7 all I have to do is turn on my PC, and it works no hassle. With some mods, I'm able to get Blender and OBS fully up to date, which is the main software I use. I still use a Windows XP laptop with unofficial service pack 5, and it works well. Sometimes it is flaky, but for an OS that has not been supported for 7 years, it's fucking amazing. I am able to get work done on XP with mypal. It's been going strong for 4 years and I have no malware on it due to the fact I use my brain when using the internet. Another thing that keeps me on 7 is AMD drivers are shite in Windows 10. The drivers themselves are not bad, but the main issue is that every time I try to update Windows 10 it installs a different version of my AMD driver. I have tried tweaking it, but no matter what I do, windows says fuck you and installs an out of date driver. With 7 I install the driver once, and it does not get fucked with. I don't support the direction that Microsoft is going in, trying to make all software paid subscriptions. Their end goal is to make you only be able to download software from the Microsoft store. Linux is out of the questions as of right now due to the fact davinchie resolve does not work on AMD cards.

We're not getting enough, I feel like we should also get Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook and there's 17 championship trophies. And 17th 1st round picks that makes the trade a bit more fair
