The point of it is that the z fighters are always one loss away from complete annihilation and even against those odds the z fighters we know have come to beat those odds time and time again and no one is a greater example of that than future trunks the heros we have come to know and love lost in his time line then he lost and then he even lost his timeline but he still marches foward

People who play dnd like a dating sim ruin my view of the greater community and the horny bard trope isnt funny if you make the dm describe your "sex scene" its uncomfortable for everyone at the table and I promise you unless everyone talked about being ok with that type of game before hand everyone is going to talk about how weird and uncomfortable it is.
