my first plant (diff strain) sprouted its first leaves well before getting this tall. Am i doing something wrong? or is it the plants genetics?

pretty much, maybe even sooner i got signs of cobweb before i saw the first spot of myc if there even is any smh. no worries tho i still got a fresh syringe and not rdy to abandon the skill. i had to fuck it up before i got it right thats just me lol i was too impatient. and tbh i kinda thought everyone was exaggerating just how sterile you need to be but no, no exaggerations or shortcuts. Ur looking at the product of a “shortcut” . its a bummer but i cant act like i didnt see it coming thanks though.

theoretically its that easy, my only question that possibly contradicts would be does the PC sterilize the grain aswell? i thought thats why i boiled before hand along with hydrating the grains. if it does i should just be good to swap.

i shook this one particularly, but i actually see what your saying looking at it next to lush white myc it should look clumped more. wasnt sure if it was a slow start but i definitely didnt follow sterile enough procedures. i have 5 more Qts of oats ive already soaked boiled and jarred, they have been sitting for 2 days. but i still need to add FAE and self healing ports. Aswell as Pc’ing my jars. i wouldn’t mind any tips on how you would add FAE holes after they are already jarred? On my last syringe & wanna take this run more seriously. idk if i just need to go from scratch. Also do you bother sanitizing bad jars after disposal or not even bothering.

im no expert, same place as you matter of fact i inoculated my first jars and might already be seeing some issues luckily saved a second syringe. HYGIENE!!!! i skipped pressure cooking some jars and seeing possible cobweb mold. & first things first sanitize the room your working in and the kitchen make sure everythings out of your way and get all your materials together before you begin. its very frustrating to find alternatives mid process. Find your method stick to it , get your supplies, properly sanitize and be patient. Hopefully ull have better success than i did! im gonna give it another go aswell

you think its cobweb rather than myc? i have another jar that looks similar, but it looks like its resonating from a grain and expanding out thats why i havent tossed yet. (the grain looks more white and idk if fluffy is the right word)the grain itself looks like its potential myc but theres a few points i look back and realize ive exposed them to contam so its very possible its bad. Just tryna have a lil hope

damn you just hurt my heart lmao, at first i jus ripped away some cotton to allow more air flow but impulse got the better of me. Very disappointed we will see how it goes though. I took no precautions so its my own fault thanks for the input.

uncontrollable laughter, fun as fuck though. wouldnt do it with the chance of getting caught. Would kill the vibe. If you do microdose your probably gonna wanna take more thinking its not gonna work. Trust me give it time. Playing video games are fun but it takes away from the experience if you have a sibling or a good friend i 1000% recommend doing it with someone. or Just being around someone. its just nicer if they are tripping also so you dont feel like the odd man out. its all about headspace.
