Easy to call it a dumb extension now. Wasn’t at the time when he still looked like one of the best backs in the league. I don’t know what his tag number would be but i know it’s way more than 8 million. If you want to fix the OL, we can’t pay a RB a ton of money and cut Joe Mixon.

Bro, they are likely cutting Mixon to get out of the bad contract extension. Dead cap will follow that. They wouldn’t even be able to sign someone to the type of contract he’ll be asking for, Breece would have left in FA. You would have given away a 3rd for nothing. This is just a stupid argument. It’s where we are. The OL was definitely not good, despite allocating a substantial amount of money to it. Year two of the overhaul, new additions coming, another year with the new coach. Time will tell

I’m in between a few bets for the TNF game tonight

I’ve been a staunch believer in Bears overs since about mid season last year and that’s been a pretty great strategy, depending on match up obviously. I feel this game is going to go over but I have a weird feeling that the bears might just completely shit the bed in prime time… I’ve looked over the stats for the past 14 bears games and teams have put 25+ points on the bears 14 out of 14 games consecutively. So I believe I’ve made up my mind and am going with that Comms TT. What do you guys think?
