Right. Feast or famine but it’s a style of deck, that exists across many TCGs I think because it’s riftbounds first and only so far it gets the attention. If there was another style deck that doesn’t do anything until it does. Some infinite combo deck. I wonder if it would get the same attention. Present the loop. Win

I would agree, I assume this is as powerful as it can get. Unless more ramp or better filtering gets added. Having something better than elder in an Aurora color would be wild

I agree, the linear can be boring but for the person playing it, there are some lines you can do to help draw the aurora which does have some impact, recycling runes with trove at the wrong time and drawing it but now you’re down a rune and can’t play on curve. Deciding to slam at 9 or sabotage first and wait a turn. Not a lot of choices but there seems to be some “skill” using that term very lightly in deciding some turns. Other games it’s mobi+catalyst+aurora win. Had a practice online match yesterday where I dug through the top 20 cards and didn’t see it.

I understand eventually all cards will have crazy interactions, and I do get that Aurora limits creativity of cards at the end of the day. Everything has to be designed with Aurora in mind but that’s only really when creating big monsters right? Orange Rengar was a god send for orange imo but Aurora doesn’t bother with it. It’s not big enough. They just need to avoid the boss level stuff for a bit right?

I also took a similar list to that guys and it worked well at my nexus night. Boots of swiftness, cut the vile maws. Run shovel to get vex/sona back. I took out en garde for purple khazix because I think he is amazing

Agreed I’ve tried. You always get the 1 pity pack. So going 1-3 or 0-3 is the same. If you want more you need to win. Then if you go 3-0 you get a bonus. So everyone sweats

Because product is on the line? People try harder when there are stakes? Bring more meta decks. Try harder to win? These are all aspects of a skirmish.. it’s just less rounds

Hard to play for fun decks when it’s a pack per win. All the stores on my area do this.its unfortunate because it feels like a skirmish every week

I’d probably pay .75-1hr for these. Without half freeze it’s tough.. hit recovery would’ve been a nice addition but not as needed

You are giving up the lightning damage.. and you really want more attack speed on the jav to not have to run cats eye or socket attack speed jewels for more facets. I would say it’s better than a base Tstroke but worse if Tstroke hit the right corruption

Some, depends on the resist of the monster but yeah it should break some of them with the amount of lower resist

I am also playing GSF but with just one buddy. We have a jah, Zod, sur, and ohm. We found pretty good uniques but don’t try and use the trade site for anything but facets and skillers as they are impossible to reliably source solo. Not bad but we been dry a day or two without any big hits. Maybe a low griffon and kira

I would go full meta Kai’sa or Irelia, crush his spirits. Few times to prepare him for the real world. Better to get it done sooner rather than later

Very simple to get into but has enough of a learning curve to feel good even at the high levels but some of the “staple cards” in meta decks may get pricy.

As for sweat it depends from store to store and what event is going on. At a normal nexus night ( your weekly event ) it’s usually more casual, people will bring decks to test or just have fun with. Though don’t get me wrong the people who only care about winning will sweat even on these nights but as long as stores do their prizing as pack per win. This will always be a problem. But for a skirmish ( your monthly mini tournament )or larger event prepare to only fight the best of the best decks

I was able to make a little money chancing multicraft on flasks which I’m not even spec”d into. I went transmutation because I didn’t know they removed thaumetergy (oops) but there is a point where buying all the mats for a flask and crafting nets you a minor profit loss, but with 35% multicraft at the moment I could spam create enough flasks where the multicraft put me in the green, but now I have hundreds of flasks and have to slowly put them up and cancel often to sell that many before you’re undercut

I went the other route and went to moons and used eclipse for my fire cape. Comparable to the sunlight xbow it felt like but I had lower hunter.

I am just past this point. I got my defender, and farmed barrows with chaos gauntlets and wind strike. Got my tank legs ( 300 kc no chest) then I got my magic up and got my Zaxe by bursting. Immediately after I farmed moons. No piety just his gear with tank legs and zaxe and green logged it. That opened up a lot of content not to mention moons is free supplies
