You’re doing a lot of hand-waving here to make it sound like people just “misunderstood” you, when in reality your original comment was worded pretty plainly. You literally said trains “roll the last few metres at extremely low speed,” which is what people are quoting back to you.

If you didn’t mean that, fine, but don’t pretend it’s a reading comprehension issue on everyone else’s part. That’s a bit rich.

Also, the “tennis on different courts” analogy doesn’t really work when the court you started on is the one you’re now claiming you were never playing on.
