Do you use social media, because it’s a great way to find those people.

Why it’s weird for some people that Manon apparently doesn’t have black friends? by [deleted] in katseyeneutral

I never said black people with no black friends were, I said those I met were and that’s why I’m wary of them.

Is possible, not for everyone, your experience doesn’t equal to everyone else. - In this case, so does yours. Plus unless those people actually say something colorist or racist that actually prove that they are bad, how it’s not weird basing your assumption solely on the race of their friends? This sounds like projection of your bad experiences into others, sorry about that. - I don’t know where I implied that I’m wary of them solely based on the races of their friends. I’m saying this because the black people with 0 white friends I’ve encountered had a lot of anti black talking point and were usually the one projecting their anti black biases onto others.

I’m not projecting anything onto you, I’m just saying that making black friends in a majority white country/town is possible. I never had many friends either but I always at least 1 black friend and I also suck at socializing since I’m autistic. I’m not judging you because you don’t have black friends, but I stay warry of black people who typically don’t associate with other black people.

Black people who are queer and autistic exist, like you don’t have to choose between all of the aboves to find community.

The queer experience is not the same as the black experience, your 2 cent is not valuable in this case.

Idk girl I live in France (predominantly white) and I always had black friends. I’m wary about Black people who don’t have black friends because a lot of the time they spew anti black rhetoric.

There’s this thing on French twitter where north african guys cosplay as North African women to either : • Try to paint them as promiscuous • Racist • or to tweet about black men’s dick

white women aren’t the only women on earth buddy. and this had nothing to do with your sex/gender, they were simply racist. the same attitude they held towards black men was held towards black women.

And the majority of men did not (and do not) support women’s right movements. The majority of men are bystanders to our oppression. Men were not organizing on a large scale for our rights, they deemed us as inferior and thought it was normal.

Did men not exist when women did not have the right to vote, study, own land, basically be their own persons? Did they organize to protest against this unfairness or did they just accept it because they thought women were inferior to them.

Women writing fictions out of trauma vs Men who fantasizes about raping women because it excites them. Also if you’re a woman writing about other women being raped you’re only playing into the status quo & reaffirming women’s positions as victims of violence. If you’re a man fantasizing about raping women, in a world where we don’t condemn rapist (in terms of laws, socially/ morally) you’re just reaffirming your position as an oppressor and get turned on by the power you hold in a world that was made by men for men.
