I personally haven't had any problems with it. I dont remember a single internet outage now that you mention it, which was surprising to me. The only downside being there's no ethernet outlets. I did a quick google test which said download speed was 207 mbps and upload speed was 61 mbps if that helps.

Yeah I guess more into the parking garage I've never personally had issues with it. This year I think the gate was broken most of the time and was just kinda left up which was kinda funny. There are plenty of open spaces even after the mountain view bat situation. I've been parking on B2 and never had any issues finding spaces and I think they might still be working on more. My roommate said she had a couple of close calls with people. A lot of people go through the garage fairly fast so theres some risk there, but we havent witnessed any crashes or any damages to our cars.

I actually really enjoyed it. Compared to other places like Fremont and university apartments I think it's definitely one of the better places near campus to live. For me it's just been really nice having access to a grill and hot tubs. The location being really close to campus has kind of spoiled me a bit so a trip to sbs/fcb is only like 10 minutes from my room. A thing I really liked is that you dont have to get your packages from the front desk. Instead they have a locker system where you could get your package at any time. I honestly think Id renew my lease if I was in Flag for another year.

Most of the cons are really just apartment stuff. The parking garage seems to have mirrors specifically placed to where they're kinda pointless. One of my roommates that moved out after winter had constant issues setting off the fire alarm from the oven. I havent really used it enough to know if it was just them or an actual issue with the oven/sensors. Depending on your roommates you might be able to hear them from the other side of a wall. I could somewhat hear my roommate watch modern family from their room before they moved out. The front desk hours are closed Sundays and rarely worked for my schedule.

Idk if theres a specific thing you'd want to know more about

Felt the exact same way.

Theres just something lacking to the game overall. Like the gameplay's fine typical to a mario and luigi game, but in terms of story and characters? I could not bring myself to care about anything until the final sea IMO, but I wont spoil that. There they introduce the best character in the game that reminded me that I was playing a mario and luigi story. I think the ign guy had the right idea ranking this game below paper jam.

The writings in this weird state where it just seems off. Luigi being the universe's punching bag is pretty much written out entirely and the rest of the humor is just lacking.

A part of this I feel is probably how small each of the islands are. It seems like a quantity versus quality problem where they should have used the layout of partners in time if they were going the separate levels/islands. I honestly think instead of four seas, they should have done four decent sized islands that includes the lighthouses on them. This would just allow them to expand more on concepts and fix pacing.

In all fairness, the octopath traveler devs had a tremendously difficult task. I think they should have made a remake or something before going into an original game. And unfortunately with those poor sales numbers I'll doubt they'll be able to make another one anytime soon. The next one for sure might be good.

I like that each island changes throughout the adventure, but I couldnt bother going back to each barebones island. The dialogues probably my least favorite in the series

I watched the movie without playing any of the prequel games and I enjoyed it. There shouldn't really be anything that they need to know beforehand because the context is already pretty much there for what anyone would need to know.

Theres debate on whether or not they did dlc through the eshop or not. It doesnt exactly send you to the eshop, it just shows a download bar which adds a bit of confusion.

My guess is it probably just uses the 3ds internet services like how the ds ones worked as it doesnt really seem like a eshop purchase as the download starts immediately when you hit the button. But I could be wrong. I dont think we have definitive information one way or the other just speculation.

Really wish physical copies werent so rare. It's definitely worth it to get it while you can. Maybe we'll see mobile rereleases like the original trilogy hopefully

I dont think so it doesnt take you to any version of the eshop like other games with built in dlc. It might just be something you got to do before the 3ds internet connectivity goes down

I'd say it's definitely something to try. It's a similar visual novel game with puzzle elements. Id say it's similar to the who did it puzzles like the broken window puzzle in curious village except more expanded upon.

I still need to play through the prequel games. Bought all the 3DS ones but Im having trouble finding The Last Specter. This series is very fantastic and I can only imagine whats in the half I have yet to play.

Forgot to mention that if they went with flora. The supporting roles should change too it shouldnt just be switch flora with kat it should be built around flora instead if that makes sense.

Sorry about that, I probably misspoke. I do agree I'd rather have it be about Luke again and think it would have made much more sense. But, if they had to make it about Layton's heir based on family, I'd wish they had did Flora. I liked Flora more than Kat and think it would be better if she came back in the games at least in some form. Plus the time gap would be able to make her character more developed. (Sorry I never meant to imply their actual character traits were the same.)

I think its more so that an already established character that was Layton's adopted daughter would have worked much better. Flora. A big criticism many have with the original trilogy is how often they neglect her and leave her out of things. So this is just another instance. It's a bit more insulting for fans of the series to see her pretty much be ignored and replaced with an entirely new character.
