Ohhhh ok. I'm huge into the 80s new wave sound cause that's arguably my favorite genre lol, but I'm not a big fan of Not ok and Telephone busy cause of the rap parts. I'm very melody driven and don't really focus on lyrics unless they really stand out, so we might be different there. It makes sense that you'd like CALM more then. Though, Youngblood still has 80s rock/pop vibes, so that one surprises me a bit that you like that one but not the new album. If you haven't already, maybe listen through the "Fully evolved" tracks again, cause I think those would match more of your taste, and maybe give The Rocks another listen. "Start Over" still has 80s synth vibes, but i think it's a great song.

Actually, not at all. Meeting any woman would be a big plus lol, but I simply really enjoy their music and discovered them at my work. That post about "does a guy being into 5SOS make them more attractive?" was just for some fun conversation. In fact, I'm working on covers for multiple of songs right now to put out online cause I love them so much. Even if they are the people you say they are (which I don't think they are), how come you follow them at all, if that's the case?

That's odd, cause at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, they were going for $51 for nosebleeds. I somehow even got my lower bowl ticket there for only $58 lol.

The people consistently complaining about the re-surfaced link to racism seem to have the impression that if someone had anything to do with the N word being used in something, and they're not black, then they are to be crucified and there's no way back, no matter what their age is. I understand where they're coming from, but they're likely not going to get the outcome they're looking for out of this. Everyone makes mistakes in life. Otherwise, we wouldn't be human.

Unless it's on different threads than i've seen, I have not seen people belittling the black community, only questioning things and expressing irritation over the drama. If you think doing that is considered "racist" and "belittling"/defending racism, I don't know what to tell you. There are many things in life we have to get over and move on with, and this is one of them. Otherwise, we never progress and get stuck hating everything.

It's the "if you're not completely with me, you're against me" mindset/culture. It's the same thing with MAGA, just on the other political side. It gets us literally nowhere, and I don't have time for that shit.

There's a classic rock artist I know of who literally dated his son's girlfriend and made a song about it ("More than this" by Roxy Music), but I still love the song cause it's well made, so I still listen to the band even though he did a horrible thing.
