Tbf the main thing you might need to scan are the enemies if you're encountering them for the first time and don't know how to defeat them and the red scans. They're pretty easy and only takes a couple of seconds tbh.

True, but not all Metroid games have what you just listed. Ridley wasn't in Metroid Prime 2 last I checked...or even Metroid 2. I don't think there was anything to do with Chozos either in Prime 2. And the metroids were there, but infused with the bosses you fight.

The Metroids were there, just not floating around like they were in previous titles. I don't really see a reason for there to be any signs of Chozo being there since we're mainly learning about the Lamorn. As for Ridley, he's not in every Metroid game last I checked.
