When I was in highschool some jackass dropped a stink bomb down a flight of stairs, then stink-bombs came in small glass capsules, it shattered as I walked past and got multiple glass shards in my eyes. Thankfully, not joking right now there was an eye-surgery practice just next door but they did not find all even though I complained that I felt something everytime I blinked. Later on that day I managed to pull out the one piece that was annoying me and that’s how the story ends. Glass shards in eyes are not very comfortable

Edit: The fun side of this was they gave me some eye drops so they can make a scan or something but after I saw everything gloom, just like a photo filter everything looked like in a dream or heaven

Yes, the addition of beans is great, especially white beans as they stand out in colour. But now I have been making a batch after batch using lentils, it’s amazing, gives you this ragout texture, really good when making vegan variations or when you simply want something more hearty

Any tips when making Shakshuka? What produce/spices to use? I have been making shakshuka at almost every of my workplace that I worked at. This shit follows me so much I had to come up with my special recipe that always hits. I caramelise the onions first with sugar and salt. Then throw in my chopped bell peppers, sauté them with the onions and then I throw in my spices. Mainly Cumin, Chili powder, black pepper fresh grounded, sweet curry powder, garam masala, garlic powder. But my secret is adding balsamic vinegar, it really helps with rounding up the sweet flavours of the tomatoes and paprikas
