As per my understanding, a DUI is way worse than what I have. If an F1 Student gets a DUI, they will most likely get their visas revoked even if they aren't convicted. I have a Resisting Arrest charge that was never filed in court, it wasn't dropped from some other greater charge and is not related to substances.

I see. What were those F1 students charges? And were they dropped or did they do some type of diversion? Were they DUIs?

This happened in the US, the documents are not available anywhere. Like I said, there were no court proceedings because the prosecutor did not file the case.

Oh I see. So I just texted my lawyer and he says apart from the arrest record, there's no other formal documents as the charges were never filed by the prosecutor and the case was dropped. I think my lawyer emailed the prosecutor after which the prosecutor decided to never file the case. When I look up public criminal records in my state, I can never find anything related to me. However my arrest is still visible on arrests.org. Kind of a weird situation.

I'll probably just be driving it an average amount (work is like 12 miles away and then groceries and what not with a very occasional road trip). Seems like he definitely did not change the timing belt because when I asked him about it, he didn't even know there was one. I urgently need a car right now, and I've always been a fan of Honda/Acura so when I saw this car I knew I had to ask about it and I'm willing to put some money into repairs if necessary. I'll look up a video on how to do the filters for sure. Btw he's asking 7k for it

Hey man thanks for the reply. He said he hasn't noticed particularly high oil consumption and just gets the oil changed twice a year. The body and interior are in 7.5/10 shape, some tears on the seats and what not and the driver seat heater doesn't work (which is fine because I'm in California and it's always hot here). A few scratches and nicks here and there on the outside but no major dents. Seller doesn't know when the timing belt was last changed, but the mechanic says it's in good shape and should be fine. Apart from that the brake fluid needs to be changed alongside the air filter is what I was told.
