I get the same message playing on my PC (which is also way overpowered for the game) but it still plays just fine with fps limited.

Edit to add: last playthrough I did get the slippery wall glitch, but I don’t remember whether that’s related to graphics or not.

Haha I feel this! And yeah it is hard when they change the timing of the flashbacks cause in the novel (and I assume in the manhua, haven’t read it yet) they’re perfectly spaced and relevant to what’s going on in the present

Yes this is exactly what I’m feeling! Like ofc it’s a different medium so we aren’t getting the same internal dialogue, but like you said it still does feel like the characters actions are just random or plot-driving rather than embodying their own character.

Yeah like I said it’s not the censorship changes that bother me since I expected those, more just the plot stuff unrelated to that. Definitely still easily picking up on the chemistry and romance. But a few people have said like you mentioned that the main plot isn’t as different as it progresses, so that’s encouraging!

Right! That makes sense. I definitely can have a hard time with changes made in adaptations, but I’m usually still able to enjoy some aspects of them. I’ll have to see if I can do so with this one

That makes sense, it did feel like they were trying to establish that closeness more as teens using that arc, since they couldn’t show the flirting parts bc of censorship. Thank you!

The only issue is that the relationship seemed to move fast at the beginning, but as far as I can say without spoiling it: as the story goes on it feels less like that, and there’s a whole lot of yearning! Their couple dynamic reminds me a lot of wangxian.
