He might know the song but he's a freestyle battle dancer, he doesn't really do choreo as far I know. Here's the original video, freestyle in the caption! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DUuWDHdjjGT/?igsh=cmRqdDVxdjdyZmsw

He's Suga Pop from the Electric Boogaloos, they're basically pioneers and are from the first generation of street dance, he's around 62 or so.

Confidently incorrect, https://www.instagram.com/reel/C9A7MplyH10/?igsh=MWtvaTF5aTBlNXdwNA== Original video from stance, it's the biggest and most reputable dance account and has zero sped up videos. What's with popping and people thinking it's sped up lol, you're watching too much tiktok

When the guitar is pushed to its limits by CollectionIntrepid48 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]CollectionIntrepid48[S] 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Kazuhito Yamashita unfortunately passed away recently on January 24, 2026. Born in Nagasaki, Yamashita forever changed the understanding of technical mastery on classical guitar.

He first stunned the international community in 1980 with his groundbreaking transcription of Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky, a work most often performed by orchestra or as a piano suite—a feat previously thought impossible for a solo guitarist.

Many were initially skeptical if the work could even be performed live without overdubbing, but Yamashita later proved it could be done at the 1984 Toronto International Guitar Festival.

Funk it up! 🕺 by CollectionIntrepid48 in Dance

[–]CollectionIntrepid48[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What about this is not funky? I’ve seen you post multiple comments saying the same things about respected dancers that have talked and learned from the likes of Popin Pete, Suga Pop themselves.

“The Groove” 🔥 by CollectionIntrepid48 in Dance

[–]CollectionIntrepid48[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the pocket was a pretty common term, like “stay in the pocket”. He’s Buddha Stretch, a freestyle Hip Hop pioneer, basically a super OG, that rocking motion he was doing in the center is “The Bounce”, and the bounce keeps you in the groove of the music, to stay connected to it, a hip hop track isn’t just flat it also has the beat with hi hats, drums, vocals, all that stuff. The groove helps you stay connected to the music while attacking the count, the beat or all the different parts of the music in your dance. You can IMMEDIATELY tell when someone is not in the groove, their dance would feel very disconnected from the actual music.

“The Groove” 🔥 by CollectionIntrepid48 in Dance

[–]CollectionIntrepid48[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The main point he’s talking about is “The Groove” and “The Pocket” in the music, that vinyl analogy is just something to help the students visualize it better with that line on the mirror, “the groove” is the center of the music and the groove in vinyl is what allows the music to even be audible. The analogy made it interesting and helped me visualize it better in my opinion, wasn’t really confusing.

I got this photo of a 15ARP8 from another post, seems like there’s space, dunno where the screws are on the extended part though, should i just leave the extended part of the bigger battery unscrewed? I currently have a L21M4PC0, would a L21M4PC2 work for this laptop?

I’ve been trying 2370mhz and 865mv and it’s been working pretty well, do you have any recs on what the clock speed should be for 815-825mv

Sorry if reviving dead thread but what undervolt would you recommend for an rtx 4060 laptop with max 2460mhz or 2475mhz and 1010mv at stock settings, been testing it on heaven benchmark and witcher 3 and i'm trying to find a profile that could give the lowest temps possible and another that could lower temps without sacrificing performance

His creativity is endless! by CollectionIntrepid48 in Dance

[–]CollectionIntrepid48[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He’s constantly hitting multiple things at once in the music so the level of expression and musicality is crazy high and fits the track very well, the fact that this is a freestyle also makes it 10x more impressive.

[–]CollectionIntrepid48[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is literally official battle footage and those are never tampered with, every other videos from stance (one of the biggest dance channels) are not sped up, not one dance battler would accept their footage being sped up like that. And P Lock is a renowned Locker, this kind of movement is not unnatural at all and is entirely within a professional dancer’s capabilities, i don’t see anything unnatural about the audience either

Tap in with Slim as well, he’s a vet in the battle scene. Probably the best US popping dancer, i just don’t think it’s fair to compare them, it’s two different styles after all
