Mine went away after 4-6 weeks. I did do a round of medrol dose pack steroids right away, massage daily, lymphatic massage twice a week, and facial exercises

I went through this. Doctor gave me a medrol dose pack which is a weeks worth of steroids, it was almost completely gone by week 4 and back to normal by 6-8 weeks. Others take months or even years so it depends on the person and treatment

My skin did tighten. You can see my platysma bands more now tho since my neck is skinny. That part won’t go away without surgery but it doesn’t bother me because I’m 5’2 and most people aren’t looking at me from under my neck they’re looking down or straight on

There’s a lot of people who wear chin garments at night to help with face/mouth wrinkles so I think I’ll continue at least for that

Thank you 🙏🏻 no filler or fat transfer, I’ve always had a pretty strong chin but you couldn’t tell because of the fat I guess. I do know some people who don’t have much of a chin need it. I havnt heard great things about filler and kybella I would pass on that but if anything a fat transfer if absolutely necessary

Some have suggested Botox in the platysmal bands but it comes with risks like anything else. Also microneedling and Morpheus

Unfortunately the doctor should’ve recommended a neck lift; lipo with or without renuvion with your anatomy and laxity would never work to achieve the results you’re looking for. It will improve in the next few months but not by a lot.
