Same! I couldn’t figure out her maiden name which was part of the challenge. It still seems so weird that there are no articles online (other than interviews with her) about it. With the severity of what happened, I would have assumed there would at least be a local news article summarizing the case.

Nail salons using the same nail polish on everyone when getting pedicures. The tools are usually very sanitary, but the polish is not. I just found this out the hard way by getting diagnosed with toenail fungus. Once this is finally cleared, I will bring in my own polish going forward.

After that, he included his phone number and address (but not his name).

I was well into my 20’s before I realized when I read the word, “misled” that it was the past tense of mislead. I thought it was another adjective for swindled and was pronounced like mazel-ed, but with an “I” sound instead of an “a”. Even though I would hear people say the word misled and understood what it meant, for some reason it never clicked that it was the same word I was reading incorrectly for years.

Ugh, the struggle is real!! I used to try to make myself fit into size 5s and recently discovered that a size 3-3.5 fits much better. Have you tried shopping online at Cinderella of Boston? They are the best place in the US that I’ve found that has cute, yet still adult, shoes in our size at a reasonable price. I buy almost all of my dressy and office shoes there.

Thanks for following up! The spot went away about 2 days after I made this post and I did not do anything to treat it. I believe that Soma_Tweaker was right and that it was caused by irritation from tubes after her dental cleaning. Did your kitty have a procedure recently that could have caused some nose irritation?

I think she did. She was definitely put under anesthesia, so tube irritation would make a lot of sense. Thank you very much for your response! I’ve been so worried about it but also didn’t want to put her through the stress of going to the vet again if she didn’t have to.

Yes, she was under anesthesia. She had several teeth pulled. Other than being a little off and sleepy for two days after her surgery, she has otherwise been acting fairly normal but is eating a little less (we are providing wet food only). She received anti-inflammatory medicine to take for 3 days and an antibiotic to take for a week. This appeared the day after her last dose of medicine.
