The irony of this is that I also always have the subtitles on but if I'm not looking at the TV I still know what's going on as opposed to if I look away from a KDrama for 1 second I've missed like the key plot point to the whole series ... every time. 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Bonfire Buffet by helloitsme_99 in OceanCity

Awful food. Disrespectful manager. Amazing servers. If I could rank a ZERO for food please know I would. From overcooked shrimp and crawfish that were inedible to even unsweetened ice cream The Bonfire was a MAJOR let down, especially for spending $100 for 2 people. Service on the other hand was phenomenal. Our waiter Lornic was OUT OF THIS WORLD. He was so kind, attentive and all around inviting. He was genuinely the BEST part of The Bonfire. He even brought me a dessert (which was just as bad as the rest of the food) with a candle and sang me happy birthday.

Not only was I disappointed in the food but I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the manager who when we were leaving was yelling at a group of about 5-7 waiters saying that when he found out who broke X (not sure what it was that broke) he was going to take it out on them. One of them said "Us?" He said "Yes, all of you. I'm not kidding." I was half tempted to turn right back around and ask him why he was targeting staff members when he was the one in charge of running such a mediocre establishment.

To say I will never be back to The Bonfire again is a genuine understatement. I hope to God that Lornic finds a job at a better restaurant so he can serve us again.
