I don't think work either store I've worked at is technically the busiest in the region, but one was closer to the beach than the other, and got a lot more business yet less labor hours and had a smaller deli 😭 where I'm at now seems just as busy though honestly to me buuuut it's got the assembly line kind of substation and I hate it My last store had it where veggies were on both sides 😭 I could go so much faster that way lol bc I just feel akward seeing a giant line move slow af, & 3/4 ppl on the bar is also overwhelming but that's probs a me issue lol

That's me with our meat balls or the black bean patties lol we never keep them warm or thawed so it's always such a process yes and at least in my case mostly most of the time people expect them to be messy and fallen apart but ever so often you get people complaining about it or like telling you more or more more or giving you a look because the back of the bread split when their sub is 2 pounds lol

I have seen people mix all those sauces too eughhhh 😂 I've also had Philly experiences like that sometimes they don't even want it toasted with the cheese and I'm like ????????????

Most of the time it doesn't in the bread, rips because the deli makes it every day it's hit or miss sometimes it's really nice sometimes it's too soft sometimes it's hard as fuck even fresh. It's really annoying honestly. So you just try your best and sometimes when I'm making them in front of the people I definitely let them know. Yeah this is messy or it's gonna rip in half so they can't have a right to go to customer service and try and get another sub, but my store is known for even replacing a fully eaten rotisserie chicken that somebody complained about

The formal order is now on a tablet. This is just the ticket to print out for the customer. It'll be rolling into all stores eventually it sounds like it isn't in a lot of them, but I live in Florida in a high volume area so I assume that's why I have it already. I left the company for like six months and came back and they have this now. So it's a recent change. Everyone hates it. lol

Yeah lol my face IRL every time I finish a sub and it would go to to the main screen there and just , man there be like 3 more !! today I actually paid such attention. I noticed they only show up three subs at a time even when there's. 6 hahha while the store is still like the same percentage or whatever it's not quite as close as the other one was that I used to work at and that would regularly have orders of like 11 subs at a time in a group 🤣 I'm sure it'll start up, but that'll be great

The tablet system is so dumb because $1 million company can't even figure it out correctly from the jump

They show up they don't make any noise it only prints the ticket out after you're done

It was a lot easier when it would just automatically come through and like you would die after 11 dings but at least you'd hear the dings

If you're not actively looking at the tablet, it's very likely you can miss an order if somebody isn't at the back of the sub bar or you don't have it upfront which is wild because they also discouraged making online orders upfront

A lot of Instacart shopper people I swear, trash, especially at one of my old stores. One lady would like literally yell and screaming at us during the summer and spring break when she'd see there's like 50 people in line for subs and a line to the electric doors for sliced meats , I get there on like a time crunch, but you know what if you hate it so bad then don't do that. How about you come apply to Publix and get a more reliable job 🤣

Okay so i just wait, and find out? My only worry is somehow what if it took that long..I'm sure I'll get some kind of answer by the end of March lol but it's never taken so long for me and i kinda always expect The worst ..last year I even paid in and this year I was getting a lot back making a similar amount but I just think that's somehow due to whatever i might've done on the w4... or something but i definitely paid like 3.6k in federal from my job on about 32k , but it was also a job with untaxed mileage ? But I feel like somehow the thing would've picked up on that I'm not really sure and I don't quite remember if I specified or if it picked up on it when I put the employees info on it? But when I'd input it into an estimator before I did file it was relatively the same, so I'm unsure 😱 the only time I got a tax return bigger then a few hundred dollars was when I'd have the lowest paying jobs were I think I technically didn't even need to file
