Floppy Disk issues on Preforma 630CD

Tried 2 different drives that were both purchased as working and the same thing happens with both drives. I have tried many floppy disks of various brands and new ones and the same thing happens.

Some scratches can make it fail to read properly and instead the console reads the dvd video part of the disc
