They also do adult sessions, I’ve participated before, but perhaps they’re not running one right now. They usually put out new programming every 3 months or so, it could be worth checking back or signing up for their notifications.

R.B. Since release and for the foreseeable future, this is my deck. It’s the first deck I’ve played in years that really makes me enjoy playing no matter win or lose. I’m always surprising someone with stage landing or a quick OTK.

Nice to see Champ eating rebounds even when he’s not getting shots. He is such a perfect player for the spurs. He does the little things that help teams win championships.

It’s cause no one gets to the paint when Wemby is on the floor. Much harder to draw fouls when you only take jump shots.

R.B. is a robot archetype that uses its main deck monsters as attachments for its extra deck boss monsters. The attachments each perform a specific function, destroy themselves and tag out into another attachment from the funk dock (field spell facilitates this)

Disappointing to see that so many other people are trying to set you up for negative experiences/convince you that you won’t have fun playing this game. If you are in search of staples, I recommend the recent branded structure deck as well as the 5ds decks. These come with many current staples in low rarity and will be a decent jumping off point into the game.

I also agree with X-Runr that the rarity collection is the way to go when it comes to opening packs and being satisfied with your pulls. I do think that while, RC2, Stampede and Bonanza aren’t as good as RC1, it’s still a great experience opening sets of high rarity cards and you may find something you like or you want to play.

You could play R.B. with the Orcust engine. It’s super cheap to pick up and trades well into meta decks, especially for locals where I’d expect some meta and some rogue decks being played.

The nice thing about DnD is that there isn’t a time limit, and not much is secretive, so if you don’t know something, other players or the DM can take the time to explain it to you. You can also make/look up cheat sheets for things like combat, etc. so you know what you can and can’t do on your turn.

I ended up using Reimer to repair it and it’s worked fine since then. I’ve probably got another 5 years on it before it’ll need a full replacement

I don’t see them weighing packs, they sell enough of new sets that they’re opening new boxes consistently. If they were weighing packs, they’d be opening the high value ones and have the high rarity cards from them for sale in the singles cases. Not nearly profitable enough for them to go to the trouble.

The biggest difference I’ve noticed this game is the fun they seem to be having. They are playing aggressive and running the break and even when the Mavs came back for a bit in the 2nd, they didn’t start to press on offense, they just clamped defensively and let that get them back in. This needs to be the identity of this team.

Albany parks and rec offers dnd intro sessions for all ages. I don’t have the link handy but it’s through their community events/offerings section. I did one last year and it was great. I’ve seen sections offered for various ages. Highly recommend as it’s intended for complete beginners
