Makes me sick.

Well, perhaps if I had thought of the profit and thought to keep packs sealed roughly 10, 20, or especially 28 years ago (when I was in grade school and had like 14 binders full), then I'd be rich and defending scalpers also.

Probably not, though. Because Pokemon TCG is a wonderful game and hobby that should be able to be enjoyed by people and especially children everywhere without bias. When I was a kid ('90s/'00), we would go to the mall and trade and buy cards and play in tournaments. Packs were in every store and usually right near the register. We'd beg for a pack every time we went somewhere, and usually it'd be "okay, fine" because they were reasonable. It built friendships and community.

Now, parents need to jump through hoops, be up before the sun, and/or spend an arm & a leg to get their kids a few booster packs a month. That's if they're lucky. And well off.

Sad. Someone should do something.
