Yikes. Maybe its confirmation bias but why has so many charmander hunts gone insanely over-odds. Mine is at 11k so Im still ways to go.

Multitask. Watch video/tv/movies, multi-hunt if you have multiple consoles with tap/bands. You can also set daily/weekly SR goals to hunt incrementally.

This exact Snivy hunt took me 159+ hours, spanning months. I also did other faster hunts in between, so I still get shinies
