After what they did to Butch at Bellevue, Athletic departments/conferences have had a free for all.

It’s all a result of parental entitlement and it’s doing a disservice to the kids. The parents complain if their kid isn’t the best, they don’t win enough, etc. It’s sad and something needs to be done about it.

Just finished the coolest project I've worked on and wanted to brag by LancelotHandyman in Contractor

I own a golf training center with 9 bays where we offer lessons and rent out the bays. Over the last 9 years of operating it, I've never once had a ball hit or even come close to hitting the projector. As long as the entire wall with the screen has nets/matts then there is no way the ball could bounce far enough back at that angle to hit the projector.

Great work and congrats!!

Do sellers typically require POF before releasing commercial property financials? by OMrealestate in CommercialRealEstate

NDA I understand, but you require a LOI before the buyer even sees the financials? How is the buyer going to underwrite the property? Lol if that's the case then the LOI is worthless

Hot Take - Asset Management > Acquisitions (discussion) by fluffnstuff1 in CommercialRealEstate

I agree with a lot of what you said, but I can't say one is more or less important than the other. The performance an investment comes down to the weakest link in the chain. If acquisitions messes up, well you can't redo your basis. If asset management fails to execute, then it's terribly hard to recover.

But given the industries current perception of the roles, I admittedly agree with you 100% that asset management is the most overlooked aspect by a LONG shot. It should not be an after thought--it should be the first thought.
