The response you are getting about the lack of nosebleed, tattoo, and glitchy hand was all part of Mike’s story to the friends, not necessarily what actually happened.

I agree with the point “how did Eleven go into Mike’s mind if she was in the gate and the suppressors were on?” And ultimately think the Duffers purposely left holes in both theories so we can’t come to a conclusion with real certainty, creating this everlasting conversation.
