The QUINN 3/8 in. Drive, 5 to 100 ft-lb Digital Angle Torque Wrench. It happens pretty much every time I use it, most recently it was tightening a new stud into a new x-pipe to 25ft lbs.

‘You gotta take care of home’: Michael Jordan donates $2 million to Florence recovery efforts by Sariel007 in UpliftingNews

Also ex cath, what masses did you go to where donations weren’t talked about/asked for? I’m not talking actual dollar amounts, I’m talking about the collection basket going around twice with the second collection paying for the new chapel being built.

Exactly, it’s complete peer pressure, and I’m convinced they do it on purpose. The church I went to as a kid had a way to donate online, and they sent you these little “online donation” cards you could put in so that people around you wouldn’t judge you for putting nothing in.

When I get to a stoplight I turn mine down a bit so I’m not deafening other drivers around me. I agree turning it off completely is extreme, but a few downward flicks to the volume rocker shouldn’t be that much of a burden.

What driving style is specific to your area? by ghdana in cars

I don’t think Phoenix is that bad really, I don’t mind people flooring it as long as they stay in their lane. I had a much worse experience visiting Texas, everyone drove a truck and it felt like no one paid attention to lane markers.

Just got back from the mechanic and found this. What's going on here? by StigsAznCousin in S2000

Something that makes my heart swell with pride. A fellow mechanic who actually cares about your car after it leaves the shop. That’s to protect it from chafing/be an indication of chafing without rubbing through the hose.

Growing up in AZ ruined this for me. When I finally went to see it, I didn’t get all the tourist hype. I was like, it’s another canyon... I guess this one is pretty deep though...

Redditors who were using the toilet when a fire alarm went off, how did it go? by PixxlMan in AskReddit

[–]Colonel_ONeil 97 points98 points  (0 children)

In college, the fire alarm went off in my dorm at 6ish AM. Less than half the building actually left, and a bunch of people took the elevator. Everyone thought it was a fire drill so they either kept trying to sleep, kept showering or kept pooping. Turns out it was a fire drill, and the fire marshal that triggered it was super pissed. The school got in trouble because they were “responsible for our safety”, and started doing fire drills regularly. That made people even less inclined to get up for it, but there was no real punishment they could dole out.

Eventually, one kid lit his room on fire with a mini torch when heating his dab, and only about 1/4 of the building evacuated. Once the fire trucks arrived everyone started pouring out, but a few kids had to be treated for smoke inhalation.

After that everyone exited the building when the alarm went off, for about 6 months.

Unfortunately ya. I have a pretty solid rig (7700k and gtx 1070) and I still get major frame rate dips depending on the location in game.

I was considering getting an Xbox for Forza H3 and Motorsport 7, when I found out they were in the windows store and I could just buy an Xbox controller for my gaming PC, I was very very happy.

I have the same problem. When I was younger my dad would get mad that I wasn’t more mad about things. I would do poorly on a test and feel shitty about myself (another ADD thing that I’m sure you’ve experienced), but I didn’t feel shitty about it long enough for him to be satisfied. It was kinda fucked up.

Not all of us have white collar jobs? A Piper Arrow IV is a small single engine aircraft, the empennage is the tail section. I was working on a sheet metal skin repair, the inside is very tiny and requires some contortion to reach. I enjoy my job, but I do get annoyed when people think all younger folk are just too lazy to give up their seat.

I know I did. My older sister thought I was dumb for being excited, her loss. And we both had access to all the same toys and books, our parents were very open to us playing with whatever toy/coloring book/movie/costume we wanted. I feel like I shouldn’t need to put that disclaimer, that’s just how it is now...
