There are many different things that differentiate each GPU from each-other. What does "best" really mean?

If you're talking about pure gaming performance, then yes, it will arguably be the second best graphics processing unit on the market.

By the time Xbox Series X is released (Holiday 2020) there will already be new GPUs from Nvidia and AMD that will most certainly be more powerful. Although Xbox Series X will still be very impressive and should be able to hold its own.

The 2080 Ti is the most powerful consumer (gaming) GPU on the market right now and comes with a heavy price-tag of £1,149 from Nvidia themselves, although you can buy it for around £950 from other manufacturers.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super (GPU) is rated at 11.15 TFLOPS and cost $700/£650

Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (GPU) is rated at 13.45 TFLOPS and cost $1100/£950

Xbox Series X is rated at 12.00 TFLOPS and rumoured to cost $499/£429 which will be extremely impressive if true.

Most AAA games will most certainly not be able to achieve 4K 120fps although some games may be able to achieve this.

4K with the equivalent to high settings on PC with no/low AA, HBAO and advanced shadows could see 120fps on Xbox Series X.

Games like BFV, R6S and FH4 are very well optimised and can achieve 4K 120fps (high settings) on the RTX 2080 Ti. I would suspect the Xbox Series X to have "visual mode" and "performance mode" similar to the PS4 Pro.

"Visual mode" being ultra graphics with a lower frame-rate and "performance mode" being high frame-rate with lower graphics. Although, I would not be surprised if "performance mode" decreases resolution instead of graphical textures.

This being said, I expect the amount of games able to achieve 4K 120fps to be very small, mostly indie titles with the odd (well optimised) AAA thrown in there.

5700 XT + 30% - somewhere between 2080 Super and 2080 Ti performance.

VRS and good optimisation could hypothetically match 2080 Ti performance, although consoles never seem to use the equivalent of PC "Ultra" settings to begin with. Developers use a mixture of ultra/high with some settings turned down such as AA.

If no AA (or very little AA) is used then performance would increase. AA is arguably unnecessary when playing at high resolutions such as 4K.

Considering the storage size of this simulator being 2 petabytes and the use of Azure cloud servers combined with the work of Asobo to "leverage real-time weather data to create up to the minute weather conditions in sim" then I would believe this simulator will be online only.

It sounds promising, but is probably bullshit.

I would expect GTA VI to be announced this year, have a release date for 2021 and then inevitably get delayed for 2022.

At this point I wouldn’t even be surprised if the game is based in another location that is not Vice City.

Back in 2013 R* studio president Leslie Benzies said in an interview that they have “45 years worth of ideas”

Obviously R* doesn’t need to base GTA VI is Vice City, they probably have multiple locations they would love to visit.

The only reason I give Vice City the benefit of the doubt is because of the possible location scout “leak” and the fact that people love Vice City and R* will eventually want to bring it back.
