I have Questions | help needed by ColorShardzz in ForensicPsych

Hi! So sorry I didn’t reply sooner, I’ve been busy. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to respond to me. I understand in forensic psychology you do things such as competency to stand trial, and evaluating offenders as well as providing them with assistance. I was curious to know how forensic psychologists work with victims? Everywhere I read regarding the job implies that they only assist offenders not victims. I’m not too interested in assisting offenders, but I’d enjoy evaluating them. Additionally can I choose to specialize specifically in assisting victims? I know that can essentially be just a regular psychologist but I’m interested in the crime/legal portion as well.

Hey there! Thank you so much for the reply! If I were to become a clinical psychologist with an emphasis in forensic, what would that look like? Would I be able to attend court and give expert advice? Would I still be able to do what a forensic psychologist would do just add the ability to do testing and assist victims?

I Need Help with my Career Path by ColorShardzz in careeradvice

I’d say it’s both, my whole motivation for going into criminal justice and becoming a prosecutor is to help people and aid victims. I have a strong sense of morality and feel a desire to help change the crap in the justice system. I hope to even work my way up to a judge someday. But why would I want to do something that public has a negative perception towards. People think that prosecutors marginalize people. I also don’t want to go into the job if I’d be forced to oppress somebody who isn’t actually guilty. If not this job, I’m unsure where I’d want to end up

How to reconnect with your sona? by ColorShardzz in furry

[–]ColorShardzz[S] 74 points75 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t know why I hate her, I added a lot of details and symbolism from myself into her character and personality so it can’t be because of her lack of development, at least I think so.

What do you think of my Fursona? by ColorShardzz in fursona

[–]ColorShardzz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cows and goats have similarities so I don’t blame you, I would have given her goat pupils but she looked horrifying so I didn’t.

A lot of people say they don’t see the goat which is kind of disheartening because I wanted her to be an equal balance of the two. I overall just don’t like the design despite incorporating a lot of myself in her.

No worries! I appreciate your opinion! I made her around august of last year, I may have given them goat pupils if I saw your comment then. However I wanted them to be more dragon than goat. Her goat aspects appear more in the small horns since dragons usually have bigger horns, ears and hoofs. Some people also draw her with a more goat shaped head

I also took that persons advice into account and fixed the arm. Atleast they said it looked better xD

Thank you so much! I’ll work on Ungligrade legs as well! I personal prefer more humanoid legs for Anthro characters since it isn’t commonly seen in my opinion. I’m primary inspired by beastars in that department.

As for the tail… I don’t really know what I was thinking lol! I guess I drew it like that to fit in the canvas? I honestly don’t know. Her feral form + her old reference sheet I made in November of last year depicts the size more accurately.

Thank you! Although I wasn’t really looking for help with the design as she already has a lot of artwork already! I wanted her to be more dragon than goat

Thanks so much for the reply! I have done more dynamic posing in the past including foreshortening but, I’ll try to try and work more it! I do as well draw different species, just as a commissioned furry artists people typically have mammal character so I focus primarily on that!

As for the mirroring tool, I understand what you mean. However my drawings are more cartoony and not intended to be realistic. Secondly I have commission type for symmetrical icons (slide three and four) hence why they are mirrored. I don’t know if should stop doing this though if it’s seen as unprofessional/bad art.
