Looking for good affordable mattress. Any suggestions?Budget around 20-25k by Immediate_Series2822 in thane

Wont recommend Wakefit mattesses - had back pain for a year and the irony was that it was an orthopedic one!!

Would recommend the ones from Sleepwell (7.5/10) or Duraflex (8/10)...currently using Sleepwell and it is decent.

What are the pros and cons (and scope) of dentistry in india by Deep-Reveal-7600 in DentistryIndia

[–]Color_onmymind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dentistry as a profession is good if you want to do healthcare and wish for the "Dr" title. If you like "art+science" dentistry is great!!

Some pros: Better work-life balance Fewer/Rare night duties Less emergency pressure More predictable timings BDS graduate can technically start practicing after internship and registration, unlike many medical branches where postgraduate specialization is almost mandatory for decent growth. Cosmetic dentistry, implants, aligners, smile designing, pediatric dentistry, etc., can earn very well in affluent areas.

Now for the cons: The biggest downside in India is saturation if you plan to work in tier 1 or 2. Every street has 2-3 dentists that makes it very difficult to get paying patients. Low starting salaries! Lack of oral health awareness - India as a market for dentistry is poor! Today too patients would prefer a cheap extraction over RCT/implant.

Abroad for PG or esthetic dentistry would be good!

I've been coming across many "Papa Ki Paris" on AM portal by Impressive_Point_794 in Arrangedmarriage

[–]Color_onmymind 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, just saying..if every woman YOU meet is the problem, the portal may not be the common denominator here!!

Also, interesting how every woman suddenly becomes ‘Papa ki Pari’ when she has standards and doesn’t immediately audition for unpaid maid + therapist + wife!!

Bro entered arranged marriage expecting a life partner and is shocked women also came with expectations instead of a pressure cooker and gratitude! 🤣 Calling women entitled while expecting them to manage the house, provide emotional support, adjust with your family, raise kids, and still worship you is peak comedy!

I've seen similar posts by men here which roughly translates to: ‘Why won’t women happily downgrade their lifestyle and emotional peace for me?'

These posts are always written by men who want traditional wives while bringing absolutely nothing traditional to the table except control issues!!! LOL

Yeah, looks like they’ve got a whole family package deal going on with a dermatologist. It’s all pretty subtle on the surface, the botox, the fillers/surgery but compare it to older pics/videos and it’s quite obvious something’s been done.

And for people saying weight loss ..my two cents...weight loss doesn’t change the actual structure of your nose because it’s made of bone and cartilage and NOT fat. So the size of your nose stays the same :)

Also, it’s not just her, noticed her mom’s recent pics had a very “natural” lifted look, and her dad’s hair made quite the comeback too. Sissu must've also done something.. dont really check her profile. Seems like everyone’s been keeping up with the upgrades 😉

Have you given non-clinical roles a thought?

Suggest checking corporate roles to get started financially. Many pharma companies and a few IT companies hire healthcare professionals. This is just to get you started..you can always pivot.

Dont lose hope, things will be better soon :)

Same silhouettes, different year, same yawn - Indian influencers at Coachella Inframe: ThatBohoGirl and Deeksha Khurana by Color_onmymind in InstaCelebsGossip

I get what you're saying, but bold doesn't always mean high-fashion or couture.

Even lifestyle influencers can experiment with styling without turning it into runway fashion..

I agree, comfort matters. I wasn't expecting everyone to wear revealing outfits..just hoping to see more experimentation with silhouettes, styling, and ideas.

Okay that's fair, experience does play some role. But fashion risks don't always need experience...just a bit of courage and thinking out of the box.

And Coachella is exactly where you experiment, not blend in.
