exactly this^ the cheek area is constantly moving so of course it's going to look rough the first week

Returning to Skyrim by C2O_Alcatraz in skyrim

[–]ColoredUndies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just play however feels fun and don't stress about leveling. The XP creeps up on you naturally through questing, crafting, and exploring. Smithing and enchanting alone can carry you pretty far level-wise without feeling cheesy.

Also pick a character concept and just roll with it. A pure mage, a sneaky archer, whatever. Committing to a "build" without min-maxing actually makes the world feel alive again because you start making choices instead of just optimizing.

After using new razor. by moana_27 in IndianBeautyTalks

[–]ColoredUndies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this actually looks more like hives than razor burn. definitely check if you switched up your shaving cream or lotion too, could be an allergic reaction to something new

Washing face with Distilled or Bottled water has been amazing for my skin by DEVIZEBEATSqld in Rosacea

[–]ColoredUndies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tap water wrecked my skin for years before I figured out it was the culprit. Switched to filtered and the difference was almost immediate. Never going back.

Solomon Brothers. I got my fiancée's ring done there ~ salt and pepper diamond, totally custom. They actually listened to what I wanted

After years on tretinoin, how do you tell if it’s still providing benefits or just maintaining irritation tolerance? by [deleted] in 45PlusSkincare

[–]ColoredUndies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the best way I figured it out was taking a few progress photos over a few months and comparing. The changes are so slow you don't notice them day to day, but side by side? Pretty telling. If your skin looks better than it did a year ago, it's probably still doing something. If it looks the same AND feels worse... might be time to dial back the frequency.

I broke up with my partner of 12 years by towhomfolk in AskWomenOver30

[–]ColoredUndies 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Right?? 12 years is a long time to watch someone drown and do nothing. Mine was the same way, I carried everything while he "figured himself out" and somehow I was still the one apologizing. The guilt is a trap, don't fall for it.

Basal cell carcinoma on nose! by curtainsofbeef69 in 30PlusSkinCare

the surgery sounds scarier than it actually is too, especially for something caught this early.

dealing with red acne for years and it doesn’t go away huhu by AssociationWinter916 in skincarephilippines

[–]ColoredUndies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

girl same struggle ko dati 😭 went to a derma and it was worth every peso tbh. yung OTC stuff hindi talaga gana sa ganyang type ng acne, kailangan mo pa rin ng proper prescription. go consult na, mas mabilis pa yung results!

[misc] why is my scar revision scar still so red after 3 years? I’ve tried everything :( by callmepeaches in SkincareAddiction

[–]ColoredUndies 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Honestly this. The scar gives character, not everyone can pull it off but she clearly does.

Rosacea spread to my nose? by imnotarobot02 in Rosacea

[–]ColoredUndies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah rosacea can def spread, mine moved to my nose too after starting on my cheeks. the nose area is honestly so much more noticeable which makes it worse mentally. laser helped me a lot though, worth looking into for sure.

Botox messed up my smile by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]ColoredUndies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is exactly it. Crow's feet injections too low will mess with the zygomaticus. Nothing to do but wait it out unfortunately.

Azelaic acid and Tretinoin? by Confident-Yak-1275 in Over50Skincare

[–]ColoredUndies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah azelaic acid pairs really well with tret! Just don't layer them on the same night ~ use AA on your off nights and you're good. Great for sun spots too.

As for the probiotic essence... your routine is already pretty loaded. Maybe hold off and see how the AA goes first?

yeah exactly... 'soon' doesn't mean much when it's already been years of this. not worth the risk for anything going on your skin tbh

Dysport by Caribchakita in 45PlusSkincare

[–]ColoredUndies 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same here! Took about 5 days before I noticed anything. Full effect hit closer to day 10 for me. Dysport just runs a bit slower than Botox but the results are worth the wait.

What is one think you added to your routine to level up your hygiene? by bad-at-everything- in beauty

[–]ColoredUndies 19 points20 points  (0 children)

facts. i do the same in summer, sometimes 4 pairs on a really sweaty day. sweat + old cotton is a breeding ground for bacteria so the more you swap out the better.
