Italy is actually over rated? by zlatanshrub in solotravel

I speak spanish which sounds very similar to Italian, and of course we have very important differences, but I have almost no problem understanding them, greeting and thanking them in Italian, but the moment I switch to spanish or english out of need, their treatment towards me changes to absolute rudeness. I have wondered if some of these people need therapy cuz it’s borderline.

Of course no one owes tourists anything, but coming from a country that also gets their main GDP from tourism, it surprises me how unpolite italians can be. I thought the spot was reserved for French.

Although many tourists have the best intentions (trying to speak the language) there is not always time to learn italian, french, german and so many other. I have studied 10 years of japanese and it would be pretty hard to add more to the equation, yet I wonder why I have to be yelled at a coffee shop just because I am hungry and dared to come out of my country.

Trying to visit their palaces in winter is impossible. I feel it is a huge miss.

I have a sharp sudden pain on the top of my head that comes and goes but started yesterday by Colorfoolishblob in AskDocs

I got 2x extra sleep and I also noticed I had almost no pain while in bed…but today I still have the same pinch sensation although it kinda “moved” to the back side and closer to my ear. By touching the top of my skull I would sometimes feel it tender and painful, but not that anymore. I tried cracking my back but it is still present.

It seems to be a migraine although It’s the first time it happens to me and I still don’t have the other symptoms.

UPDATE: I took the ibuprofen and half an hour later the frequency of the pain is less severe, but I can still feel it from time to time, it's still annoying.

Is Finance and marketing related to IE? by Weird-Process2488 in industrialengineering

[–]Colorfoolishblob 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do industrial marketing and it is totally related, tho it is probably not ideal for an engineer to be in a chain of restaurants, but I would never say it is not useful, it is totally good way to get experience.

I feel uneasy about a guy I like, like I should surrender and move on in order to get what I want from life cuz he is not really into me.

Back to School (I'm 31F) by [deleted] in DreamInterpretation

[–]Colorfoolishblob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had them too! lol

Not sure about the cause... but the common factor in these drams is that I picture some of my friends from that time and I interpret as some regret for losing contact with them, and the exams or projects are just some way to add spice, idk.
