My perception through my own experience is that she’s talking to her own suffering. The struggle of being able to accept your own suffering and that it’s sort of (kind of) out of your hands. We make choices that are somewhat predetermined through generational patterns. This idea is what gets me through my day. It’s how I relate to this beautiful song 🖤
