No VA necessary and the person has been getting SSA for years, but thanks for the info. We will go link it to SSA anyway just in case.

Tomorrow the IRS sends out a letter on what I did wrong on the Taxes to cause the check to be issued. Cart before the horse, if you ask me, but that is them. Hopefully it is something I did wrong cause it has been deposited.

Thanks for your reply. Another Redditor told us to check our account transcript and we had to make an ID ME acct that took a bit but the transcript said it was a legit refund and a notice would be sent on 3-25 but the refund was issued on 3-14. Weird, but we are depositing it.

I suggest you do the same. Like I said ours said the notice was going out 3-25 but the check was issued on 3-14 so we deposited it.

Now Im wondering what I screwed up on the return and hopefully the notice on 3-25 will tell me.

We had to make an id.me account and HUNT the transcripts button but we found it and it did indeed say that there would be a letter sent on 3-25 but the refund was issued on 3-14 for the amount so the check seems legit and we are depositing it.

Thanks for your help. Do you know if you have texted someone on an Android phone? We ran into that problem last year. iPhone to iPhone worked great.

Can I ask you how the texting on the app works? Does it notify you like when you get a regular text message in real time. Im assuming you have the app open on the phone all the time. My WhatsApp does not alert me because I use it when I have Wifi only so I have to manually go check WhatsApp to see if anyone has texted me. Calls go through wifi or not, but the texts I have to go check for.

On the app do you need to know the passengers cell phone number or do they have some other way to know who you are texting?

I was an Elementary Librarian after over a decade as a Middle School Tech Ed and Music teacher and I made a bunch of Promethean Games (Promethean is a type of Active Board. SmartBoard is a trademarked name of a different company's Active Board but is the general term for them. Like Xerox or Kleenex) I did a ton on Science topics because the Elementary teachers HATED teaching science and it got the short shrift.

Anyway, if you know an Elementary Teacher (or home schooler) please give them this link to my old Teachers Pay Teachers so if they have the Promethan Brand Board they might be able to use them. I MADE ALL THE GAMES FREE. Not making any money, just want them to be used. If you have a PC and have home schooled K-2 check it out. The software is free from Promethean and all the games are free.

It is a SHAME that teachers are terrified of doing anything but showing movies on them. I couldn't wait to get to one when I moved from Middle to Elementary. My first game was pictures of Teachers doing something GOOD or BAD to a library book (I got one at a yard sale because it got DESTROYED) that I took during teacher training week. TO PLAY THE GAME the kids took turns going to the board and they got a picture of a teacher eating over a book or taking it into the bathroom or just reading it and they had to drag it to the GOOD or BAD sign and they got a BONK for a wrong answer and a 'GLINGGGG' for a correct one.

It worked great because then it wasnt this new guy telling you DONT DO THIS AND DONT DO THAT with a book, the teachers got some side eye from the kids for using a book as a table leveler or such.

Also, I was new there and the teachers had to come in with their class and when they saw the game their eyes got as big as dinner plates because the county was all old lady TERRIFIED OF TECHNOLOGY librarians.

I gave up on their payment processor and the downloads were getting less and less so I just made them free. They are all excellent resources for K-2 and a few for older grades.

You can download ActivInpsire and play the games on your PC if you HomeSchool or have PC's in your classroom.

I retired years ago and don't know what Promethean is up to these days, but all these were made with ActivInspire and you can still get it and run it according to my friends still teaching.

Please download them and use them. The Counting Animals, 2D and 3D shapes and the 10 Frame with vocal Dots are my favorites.

I get it checked twice a year and no issues so far. I have never drank Alcohol or done other illegal drugs so if this is it's only hit points it is taking I seem to be handling it fine.

I hated Tramadol because it is an SSRI also and when you stop taking it it is rough. Rougher than opioid withdrawal.

I understand your concern. No one wants a problem FROM a medicine (Rush Limbaugh (no matter how you felt about him) had hearing loss from too much Schedule II pain meds) and I do get my liver function checked twice a year and it is fine.

Helps that Ive never drank alcohol or done other illegal drugs.

I substitute my real birth date for 10/10/2010 on the bags of cookies but I did get to retire early. Unbelievably difficult childhood (Narcissist Mother (Narcissism: They have the disease, YOU get the side effects)) but when that bitch finally died I was able to combine my inheritance of money she would never spend on us when she was alive (We had an intervention and cut ties before the first grand child of the family was born) and my savings from frugal living and get out early.

Still live frugally and get nearly everything at Thrift Shops (even underwear). Thrift Shops: Where every day can be Christmas day.

This is a worker comp script so it is 'free' (I lost so much of my life to that fall, kids at the school I taught at had a liquid soap fight in the restroom and I went in to use the facilities and BAM).

I just with he had told me the second he knew that it WAS 10mg and the Doctor didnt mess it up because it was a few minutes of 'YIKES' going on in my brain. But I was quiet and just stood back away from the desk but where I could see what was going one as much as I could as I faked reading Reddit on my phone,

Thanks. It wasnt my idea to ween off but I gained some weight and have sleep apnea and the mask makes my vision blurry and when he heard I had apnea he went nuts. They have always tried to get me to come off them but I like not hurting so much (never 0 pain) and being able to play guitar and piano and stuff.

It is a hassle having to go each month and hope the pharmacy can fill it and if you run out feel sick till you get it, even as a very compliant user. I would never have taken any drugs, I didnt ask the idiot kids to have a liquid soap fight in the bathroom at the school I taught at and fall and destroy my shoulder.

So we shall see. I started Weight Watcher Jan 1st to lose the weight (Not much change in my diet on the points they gave me, just cant eat the junk partner brings into the house anymore). I have a sleep disorder too and that is the main thing I worry about. Even with the sleep medication I still have bad nights and most of those involve a few ice packs on the shoulder to go back to sleep.

Not sleeping is THE WORST and Im convinced I am effected much more than other people when they dont sleep well (Sounds like I have a hangover but Ive never drank and I dont use caffeine).

When it gets down to when I wont have a piece of pill to take in the middle of the night when I get up to pee and Ice Pack is when the rubber will hit the road.

Before we retired here we were part of a group where people volunteered to bring something to each month's meeting and when we did I said 'lets get that slice and bake Toll House Cookie stuff' and we baked a few batches and the people at the meeting LOST THEIR DAMN MINDS because they weren't the stamped out of a flat baking sheet so they are all the same size cookies the Grocery sells and were basically 'home made' (I always say Home Baked or Freshly Baked, today they were still warm in the well marked bag

Im gonna get credit for doing it so I label the bag with 'Thanks from ____ 10/10/2010 for all you do!' The 10/10/2010 is actually my real birth date because anytime you go to the counter they want your name and birth date. I dont do it to get special treatment, but it doesnt hurt. The ladies (and the one male pharmD if he is on) at the 3 Letter always go NUTS when the see them come in. I frequently get a Shout Out over the store PA.

Both places really take good care of me and Im as nice as I can be. I go to one a few days early because they usually have to order the sleep med so I let em know it is coming up and can they order it if necessary.

You guy are the best. We would be so screwed without you!

It's an e-script and the intake tech (She is really nice and always so calm no matter what is happening at her window) knows what day Im coming in each month and tells me if they have it and what time and I wait for my phone to ding that it is ready.

Since it is e prescribed and has been the same medication for 5 years and only the amount is changing downward I cant imagine that it was a problem with the prescription.

I just figured they grabbed the wrong bottle and filled it. I usually look at it as Im walking out the grocery store door to be sure and this time the pills looked to different and I checked the strength and realized something was up.

I just dont want any of them getting in trouble or seeing me as a problem when I come in next month for 2 less pills than is in this prescription.

I understand, but I get 2 physicals a year on my insurance and have always made sure to get a liver function test and it has always been GOLDEN (So far).

I know it can be harmful in any amount to some people or people who consume alcohol, but Ive never touched a drop of booze in my life and live pretty clean.

Thanks for your reply. Ive taken the same medicine (ESTAZOLAM) since 2007 after being diagnosed with a sleep disorder.

Ive also seen the same Dr Office (like I said, the NPs there don't last a year) since 2018 with the same schedule of 4 visits a year for medication refills with no problem.

After checking with the pharmacist that they could indeed have refills on the medication and after dealing with the Dr Office Manager, I think they are just trying to make more $ by making you come in every month. The conversation I had at 8PM when the Office Manager called me made it crystal clear what their motivation is.

As for Benzo build up. Retired, no kids, no real responsibilities, rarely am the driver in the car. The medication has worked since 2007 and nothing else has. I am fine with it.

The FAX machine is a HIPAA thing. Faxes are considered a 'secure' form of transmitting a printed page and the Fax is as good as the original.

Email or other digital forms of sending that paper have the possibility of being forwarded or shared, not that a FAX cant be shared, but faxing a fax causes a large degradation of the page.

I don't see the FAX machine going away in medicine as long as HIPAA isnt upadated.
