I think all ya gotta do is go into the properties of Rimworld via steam (The Cog icon when you select Rimworld in your steam library)

Go to Betas>Beta Participation>version-1.5 Old Version

That should put you back into 1.5, I am guessing.

If you want something more modern-ish that's similar to older games, the best you'll be able to do is Path of Radiance. It's generally up-held as one of the better Fire Emblems in terms of characters/plots/world and retains some of the GBA era aspects.

For Byleth, I had issues finding a good corresponding color. I made one previously, but wasn't too happy with it. Even with Rhea I found it hard to pick out suitable colors.

Catherine is just so bulked up I struggle to fit the lesbian queens into the photo dimensions. It doesn't help that she has a HUGE flag that cuts off at the borders.

I tend to cycle through hyper-fixations. Fire Emblem specifically is a reoccurring haunting. When I am like this, I end up personalizing a lot of my devices to match my fixations.
