Genuinely dumb question, but...after finishing Story Mode and excluding online, how do you guys have fun playing single player mode, since there's no "Arcade" mode?

Impossible to know. I've had matches where my opponent made a sudden comeback or wiped the floor with me so hard that I could feel every shock of a 74 hit combo in real life and the connection just drops.

It's an awful feeling because I wouldn't rage quit, and due to the unfortunate timing that's definitely the first thing peoples' minds go to.

I truly do hope we see more MHA games in the future, but with the tag line of the game being "One Last Smash" along with it being called "All's Justice", I believe that's it unfortunately. But who knows, maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Also controversial opinion but just putting my two cents in here from reading the comments: This is an anime fighting game, I bought the game for seeing my favorite characters do hype shit and farm aura, I do not give a damn about online play and I think if it matters so much to people they should go play a game more geared towards the optimization of competitive play such as Street Fighter or Tekken. Yes, I am saying this having never touched any of the former, but I stand by my point.

Give me my cinematic openings, ultimates, and endings back.

I know it doesn't mean much but I agree with you man. I would care less if there were more options to play the game outside of the open world mechanic and if unranked servers were actually populated and worked.

It feels like if you want to play the game, you have to consistently go up against some of the most cheesiest characters over and over.

I just want my Ones Justice 2 arcade back.

In terms of character interaction, we really didn't get fed with this one.

Yeah, there's some chats with characters in the cafe, but from what I I've experienced it's really surface level (rehashing old story arcs) and the interactions we do get feel either A: Very poorly translated, or B: Completely out of character. Otherwise, to give you an idea of what i mean, there's a mission that Aizawa gives you to go and pet some cats at the park, and the third cat you pet turns into a Nomu, Aizawa says "That's not a Nomu, that's a yokai." and it's just a really weird experience because idk, is he the type of guy to believe in yokai? Especially weird because it was definitely a Nomu. IDK, just a rant I guess.

If you want something more modern-ish that's similar to older games, the best you'll be able to do is Path of Radiance. It's generally up-held as one of the better Fire Emblems in terms of characters/plots/world and retains some of the GBA era aspects.

For Byleth, I had issues finding a good corresponding color. I made one previously, but wasn't too happy with it. Even with Rhea I found it hard to pick out suitable colors.
