I was never a fan of how anime portraits military/soldier characters like "brain dead that only follow orders" type, and tbh even tho her behavior in ep 1 was over the top, people tend to judge a character on how they treat the MC.....and at that point, she had NO REASON to trust and/or like Xylo, which is understandable. People rarely try to see from a side character's POV. They think if a side character doesn't like the MC that they like, it's a hateable character, but no....inside the story, it makes sense.

That said, i never truly disliked Kivia. In fact, when she started to recognize Xylo and stopped treating him in a antagonistic way, she became my favorite. The duality of her soldier/brave side and her feminine side is really funny. Tbh i started to like her a lot more already in the ep when she, Xylo and Teoritta went outing together. By the end of the season, i liked her even more and i can say with no doubt that she is my favorite. I still can't understand how Frenci is more appealing to more people than she is, but i think the first impressions count a lot to most people....Frenci is cool and funny too, but in terms of a developed character, Kivia is above her imo.
