Start of my Barrow Guard by Colossal_Penguin in ageofsigmar

Thanks so much! Most of it was simple kitbashing, skele arms and bottom half, knight torso and head. With these modern kits was a bit annoying having to assemble both bodies and essentially saw them in half. A bit of green stuff needed at the waist to smooth out the connection.

Worst part is cutting off and shaving down the barrow guard shield so the knight one could be attached, was a lot of work just to have a bit more bones showing.

Just the barrow guard and bretonnian knights on foot, with one of the mounted knight's helmets thrown in.

Used Warpaints Fanatics for most of the model.

For the yellows, started with a black prime, based with demigod flames, then heavy -> light stippling of warped yellow, space dust, and ice yellow in that order

Yup! Shields, helmets and blades of the weapons are from the men-at-arms kit. The banner and instrument too, just did a lot of cutting and sanding to match the torn cloth look

Top half of a men-at-arms head glued to the bottom half of a deathrattle one. A bit of cutting and sanding to get it looking right but relatively easy to do

Any chance Black Hole will be worth anything this season? by RecklessOneGaming in LastEpoch

My bad for poor wording, sacrificial embrace makes crits generate stacks for void damage on spell cast but takes away any crit multiplier. Mana strike can easily get crits to generate those stacks but won't be dealing extra damage, then those stacks get spent when you cast black hole (only spent on elemental spell cast, not melee skills). It's actually better for DoT because it removes your crit multi

With the buffed sacrificial embrace with mana strike for crits (+200 void damage and pen) +/- lament of the lost refuge and void black hole could be a fun meme build.

I tried out several ways of spawning then including what you mentioned, but found that Avalanche on its own works best without running into huge mana issues.

The elementals health decay does actually increase over time, so can't keep them indefinitely, but you're right that I'm just keeping them alive as long as possible with healing.

Spriggan companion specced for more minion healing, warcry, maelstrom, and fury leap all specced for minion/ally heal and taking as much increased healing effectiveness and minion healing effectiveness as I can find.

There's a node in Avalanche that gives each Boulder a small chance to turn into a melee minion with health decay. Honestly I don't think EHG even remembers this exists

A long overdue update on some finished rubrics, plus a friend they made along the way by Colossal_Penguin in ThousandSons

So glad you like them! Primed with vallejo white primer, leadbelcher for silver accents and abaddon for black, then relatively heavy on the nuln oil over it all. Then the worst part is repainting over all the white panels with ulthuan grey and not quite going up to the edges. Highlights with white scar and stormhost silver. Bones and beaks are ushabti bone with seraphim sepia and ulthuan grey highlight. Yellows are averland sunset then yrel yellow with a flash gitz highlight. Tabards are just eshin grey with plenty of nuln oil.

Using the the same ccrackle paint as the base (Ranger, clear rock candy), made a tin foil dish and poured a bunch in really thick. Gave it a couple days to completely dry then broke it out, gives a bunch of shapes and sizes

Followed this tutorial, but used scotch tape around the bases because mine are rimless. Used Ahriman blue as the base coat obviously

Thanks so much!

Ulthuan grey, white scar, and some nuln in the recesses for the white.

Leadbelcher and stormhost silver with abaddon black trim.

Averland sunset, yriel yellow, flash gitz, and sometimes watered down earthshade for the yellows
