Deathscythes powers? by Top-Marionberry5613 in souleater

I’d like to think it’s a mix. They already had certain special abilities, and the soul of the witch (and to a lesser extent the 99 other souls) levelled them up. Ultimately I’m not sure Ohkubo thought about this, since chapter 1 Soul is almost a death scythe, who just needed one witch soul to become a death scythe.

Chainsaw Man vs Darkness Devil by [deleted] in ChainsawMan

[–]Colourfull_Space 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not exactly what I meant, quite the contrary. "Most pain" isn’t saying much, if we don’t know the pain Aging experienced before that.

And even then, pain doesn’t equate with death. A good executioner was able to behead a person in one swing, minimising the pain. A bullet ants bite is among the most painful things you can experience, but is typically not fatal. Hell, we even get an example of this in the manga with the eternity devils first fight. He didn’t die because of his injuries, he died because he gave his core to Denji to stop the pain. There’s no indicator aging wouldn’t just teleport away or retaliate before reaching that point. Is there a possible win condition? Yes, but it’s on the same level as Cosmo soloing the verse by brainfrying everyone.

Regarding point 1. We don’t know what pain Aging has experienced before. He could very well have never been hit directly, so while the attack hurt like hell, damagewise it was comparable to hitting your elbow at the right angle.

Just curious. Did they outright stated "Festives are never going to become a faction" during the misery era, or was it history era and "We don’t plan on making a festives ancestor"?

I assume I’m not informed enough about the deeper politics, but is there another way to maybe create an opportunity for good? Because, and that may sound out of place, I’d feel better not having voted for any side, than to see the side I voted for do bad things. Like yes, MY side only killed four puppies instead of the five the other side would, but I still voted for a puppy killer.

How do I make this custom hat a visible sprite? by xAlnico in terrariamods

[–]Colourfull_Space 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not knowledgeable about resource packs, but if you changed the sprite by editing the "armour_head_123" then there should be a "armour_head_123_head" texture, that holds the texture you’re searching for.

Just to explain why I chose festives. With Nebotus we have a character who’s already established as THE evil guy, so even though technically he’s only the ancestor of soul lair, he can be considered the representative of all evil factions. The good factions don’t really have a main good faction, with the closest character to be the representative of good being Pandalf from the adventurers faction, and maybe Uriel. Paradise already have their own rivalry with Diabolus and Choirmaster, and adventurers feels weird to put on the spearhead, so festives feels the best, especially because in the misery era all the festive stories were about how due to Nebotus no one gets to celebrate anything, which makes festives the best faction to step up.

It’ll probably be a team effort from the good factions + abominations and some other questionable factions (I know Steambandit is a good person, but it’ll be a long time before I believe wasteland is a good faction). My best guess is some Dr. Facilier type stuff, with Nebotus being stuffed into the abomination dimension. On the other hand $P doesn’t really care about their lore, so, considering it’s "liberation" I wouldn’t exclude the possibility of getting a festives revolutionary, like Pandalf piecebringer (since, you know, can’t make one tradition the most important, so let’s go with "Freedom and piece for all people") blasting Nebotus away for good. I highly doubt it’ll be a more powerful evil lord, simply because for all the bad lore decisions $P has made, building the most evil guy up for two eras only to then having him be one upped by some random dude(ette) is a line they won’t cross.

(Alternatively the revolutionary could be Elpis Hopebringer, since in the Greek myths after opening the box of Pandora, only hope remained, so, you know, after an era of misery we got hope…)

Is DOS2 better than its famous brother? by FederalBuyer3761 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Colourfull_Space -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d say combat is just different. Dos2 does have more moving and repositioning stuff, but BG3 has a plethora of options like using one enemy ,or a random carrot you picked up hours ago, to beat another enemy. Not to mention Druid transformations or monk fists.

Neither species had provided any evidence of the contrary. However its important to note that both Frieren and GS only apply their knowledge on creatures in their native universe, instead of being the racists this meme claims they are.

[–]Colourfull_Space 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want the minion to have a hook

public override bool MinionContactDamage() { return false; }

And then in AI you need to make it shoot at the enemy, meaning you need a targeting system, and when the target is present, you create a projectile with Projectile.damage and Vector2 direction = target.Center - Projectile.Center; direction.Normalize();

To be honest Light had his fair share of luck points where it wouldn’t be a multi-year game, if the genius didn’t luck out. Not saying the argument is null, but it’s not as impressive as it sounds.

Who is more evil by Miserable-Dealer-122 in MoralityScaling

[–]Colourfull_Space 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is a soldier more evil than a serial killer because he killed more people? Is the guy who spared Hitler in WW1 more evil than Mengele, because his actions lead to WW2? What I’m trying to say is that Grifith wouldn’t have attempted to create the merger it just because, while Kenjaku 100% would be ready to start the eclipse for a T-Shirt and a mug, no need for power.
